stevelovesmoonspell Holy Terror-No Resurrection The best thrash band from the Us bar none, I don't know how the fuck they do it, incredible musicianship coupled with the fastest tempo I've ever heard, this band puts Demolition Hammer and Morbid Saint to shame.
Thrashtildeth I just looked those guys up on M-A, and I was immediately sold based solely on their band photo. Checking this out right now.
dead1 Bathory - Nordland I - this and Nordland II are fitting epitaphs to a truely pioneering musician. Very evocative and very well executed.
Thrashtildeth Initially checked these guys out because I thought they were named after the Entombed album and thought I might get some tasty old school death. Turns out they're a competent, if wholly unexceptional, speed metal outfit. Won't be a purchase.
dead1 DevotedWalnut wrotefirst time hearing this bad boy, me likey!:dio: Dodgiest cover ever. I actually so didn't like the cover that I sold my copy once I got it in the Artillery "Through The Years" boxset (all $120 of it). Though it's a pretty good album but not their best (I love By Inheritance).
Thrashtildeth Hey, Warfleloup, now I know why my description of Steelwing was confusing. When I said that, I had only heard Enforcer's newest one, Diamonds, which has more commercial leanings than this one. I think I prefer Diamonds.
