I think OOTB is the best BLS album to date. In the past, I've had trouble with any BLS album keeping my attention for its entirety but this one does. The three piano ballads 'Darkest Days', 'Time Waits For No One', and 'Shallow Grave' are a snoozefest for me so I keep those off of my iPod.

better than Sonic Brew or Stronger Than Death?

I find this hard to believe, but I will have to wait and see.

Sonic Brew and 1919 Eternal are awesome. The new stuff is just weak. I like old BLS. This is the blandest of the new stuff concentrated into some pure blandness with some guitar squeals.

The Scattering Of Ashes is pretty OK imo, but Buried In Oblivion is so much more intense and catchy. It's awesome. :dio:

as I said, I have already heard at least 2 songs (Crazy Horse, Parade of the Dead) and I dig them both. My hopes before hearing those 2 songs were not very high, and after hearing them my hopes are still the same. The style that Zakk plays can get stale pretty quick, and it has over the last couple of years. But, I like it and will continue to support him. Even if Order of the Black sucks and I don't like it, I wanted to buy it anyway for my collection.

I understand and if you're that much of a BLS fan I'm sure you'll find something on the album that you'll enjoy. Zakk's playing can wear on one's ears rather quickly with the repetitive riffing and pinch harmonics but that's what makes his tone distinctive. I hope you like OOTB.
