They never were really thrash, and also they were lacking 'hits'. Many of us did love them at the time however.
Agree on all points.
They did have some songs that were potentially marketable e.g. The Dark, Watch The Children Pray, Badlands or Anthem To The Estranged.
It all does come down to who's doing the marketing.
