Hey guys, what's the best Absurd album to start off with. I found a few this guy is selling and they are: Facta Loquuntur, Asgardsrei, Totenlieder, and Blutgericht. Which one should I start off with, and which one should I avoid, Also have any of you heard the band Esoteric? Thanks for the help..

I can't tell you anything about Absurd so I'll leave that to someone else.
But Esoteric is one of the best funeral doom bands if you ask me. Their entire discography is excellent to say the least. I really recommend you to give them a shot.

For Esoteric: I'd start with 'The Pernicious Enigma' or their most recent, 'The Maniacal Vale'. An excellent, original band, imo.

It's just solid death metal meat and potatoes kinda stuff, not much else to say about them other than they are a solid band.

Thanks for the Esoteric recommendations guys, I might get both albums the dude was selling Maniacal vale as well.

I agree when I first got into metal they were a little overrated in my eyes.
