Wish I could agree. I love feel the Fire, but TYOD is just timid and well pussified compared to other albums of the period. Sure it has better songwriting than Feel the fire, but there is no real intensity or anything interesting in any of the mid-paced garbage. Dev got me into them though, and they are a phenomenal band seconded only to Morbid Saint, Dark Angel, Holy Terror, Rigor Mortis, and Demolition Hammer

Bloody Overkill died on me - it's a copied disc used for the car so its ok as the original is safe and fully 100% operational.

Oh well. As such I have to listen to the satisfying-in-a -mediocre-kinda-way Arch Enemy instead.

I always get the feeling Michael Amott is trying to recreate Carcass (which he was a member of in that band's later years)).

I actually listened to some Arch Enemy while working out and it was just unfulfilling. I listened to the tracks I used to like, Carry the Cross, My Apocalypse, Exist to Exit, We Will Rise, even Bury Me an Angel and some of Burning Bridges, and time just has not done it any favors.

Wowza. This is really really good. Enjoying it more than "Darkness, Oh Hell", actually, which was one of my better releases of 2010.
