Goat Good stuff, isn't it? Closest thing Max has done to Arise-era thrash since, well, Arise. Unless Sepultura pull something spectacular out of their arse later in the year, they're pretty much screwed, sad to say.

This, and Inflikted, trump everything Sep has done since the early 90s. Also better then all the Soulfly I have heard.

I'm with you that this beats Derrick Green Sepultura without a doubt, less sure that I'd rate it above some Soulfly... depends on mood. In any case, it's certainly the thrashiest, and damn damn good. Max has won, there's no denying it from anyone.

But this, well for me anyway, this destroys it all.

A-lex was better than Omen and probably Conquer (which I know you'll disagree with). They are obv doing different things. NP:
Goat Well, not "respond" as such - Andreas has always come over in interviews a lot better imo than Max, less bashing and whining of/about former bandmates. But people are going to compare them naturally, and the bar's been set...
traptunderice DevotedWalnut wroteGave it two listens just now. Like the first one, it's okay but doesn't make me want to flip a table like Frontlines does. NP:
stevelovesmoonspell Darkthrone-Crossing the triangle of flames Man, the production makes this album a bit difficult to digest at first.
heatseeker So great. No other band has ever sounded like these guys did. The DM/grindocre parts are a bit of an oddity to me, since they're not riffy enough to be headbangable/catchy, yet not heavy enough to just blow you the fuck away. But, I wish someone would take the melodic parts and make a fucking genre out of em.

It never clicked with me but after my Priest fix, I'm going to whip out the external hard drive and check it out again. Who knows.
