I have no patience for late period Samael (after Passage at least) but their early stuff was highly distinct (I love their mid-paced tempos) and enjoyable.

The_Annoying_Frenchman Another excellent avant-jazz album by Zorn. Line up consists of John Medeski (piano), Kenny Wollesen (vibes), Trevor Dunn (bass) and Joey Baron (drums).
I finally picked this up great album.
