Women are a completely different BREED than us men are, so it naturally falls under the category of not understanding them and not being able to absorb their thoughts and emotions. It always turns out to be that women have a good understanding of men but when it comes to men understanding women they tend to complain and nag that men don't understand them; which to certain extent is true! I suppose women have a more interpersonal personality and character which is a unification of all women as far as I have seen. Men tend to be more intrapersonal and have more self-knowledge than being able to connect emotionally with others, especially women. I suppose a few years down the road I have to able to connect with a lot people and sympathize with them no matter how absurd and ridiculous their matters might be.
...yeah, don't really agree with any of this.
You certainly don't have any sort of argument other than that obscurely disagreeing with me--and obviously, I didn't ask for your approval in the first place, either, truth be told.
You didn't offer any arguments for what you said either, darling.
Well, I'm not going to write an essay with a thesis statement on a metal forum; I don't have the time nor is it really appropriate and no one would really care to read it, anyhow. I merely expressed my opinion about it and you only disagreed with me without expressing your own opinion without a glimpse of insight into what you were thinking at the time you disagreed with me. The emotional value of the female mind is very capable of leaving the rational and logical aspects of things behind merely because it has emotion rather than reason. Men usually don't like talking about feelings because that would be regarded as being a sissy in our current 21st society. But they do talk to their partners and express themselves that way, if they ever do, and by that women tend be empathetic with them much more than a regular guy might be, not considering a very close and an old friend which might understand a guy-to-guy friendship better. Why do women become lesbians or men gay? I think it's naturally obvious as to why. They tend find a much more intimate and altogether more understanding relationship with each other rather than the opposite sex (and that is not always the case but only sometimes). Why don't you ask married couples what the percentage of women are that don't complain about their men not understanding them; or ask married men of how rational and reasonable their women are when it comes to critical thinking. I have nothing against women but I'm only stating that there exists a much more emotional value in women than their single rationality. I believe you won't find a lot people that would disagree with that statement. That's as much as I'm going to explain myself due to the fact that I am not here to convince you nor any other person on this forum of my personal thoughts and beliefs.
Hmm seconding noodz. The whole notion that women are emotional while men are rational is Enlightenment philosophy bullshit. This seems like knee-jerk philosophizing to justify current systemic hierarchies.@[deleted]: I hope you're doing alright, boss.
I think there is a scientific reason for men and women being much different. I honestly believe that the roles that historically significant men have played by their almost predestined fate kind of forced all men into that mode of thinking.
I think women are purely human in their means of thinking and throw a much higher emphasis on emotion, while men were more or less imitating certain people that, ohh, let's just call it a more "regal" way of thinking because it was hard wired in their DNA in a patient zero sense. To expound on that thought, I think some people are chosen to be given a little bit more "non-humanity" if you will based on their ability to resist the influence of others and other deep seeded character issues. IE, "this guy already gets it, let's give him a little more power to work with and see what he does with it.
Along with our hormones being fucked with by multinational corporations and governments, the traditional hero archetype is no longer solely a masculine one and we are starting to see women rise up to be very rational and logical thinkers and men becoming much more emotional thinkers.
