Super talented lady at swing dancing said I've gotten a lot better in the two or three months she's been in Victoria. :-). Especially cool since I haven't been taking lessons or learning new moves and instead just focusing on posture/control/sense of rhythm. I was feeling very into it last night.
Also a guy was describing a Capoeira class where they had to walk across the room in a handstand, do a backflip from a squat, and do a no-handed cartwheel. That is all stuff I'd like to be able to do.
Break has been lazy so far. Need to get out of that. And get out of impulse buying awesome clothes on the internet, which is hard since I'm super happy with the shoes and two sweaters I've bought in the last month. It was so easy to go 6 months without buying anything when I had a couple of disappointments in a row :-(.
One of my classes next semester is going to be a reading of Derek Parfit's On What Matters. Kind of awesome? y/y. Also Epicureans/Stoics/Skeptics sounds super fun. Might be taking four classes after all. There's another class offered by my logic teacher that is a history of "a priori" from Kant to the 60s which sounds super interesting but I think I'll have to miss it.
@trapt, that sounds like my experience trying to write about Kant. Except I didn't have the two month gap. I don't understand how Kant scholars stay sane.
