Sitting at the coffee shop most of the day working on Lacan. Am ready for spring time and relief from work. I got accepted into a Sociology PHD program at Cincinnati. It was a safety school so still waiting back from one of the other eight programs. It's a huge relief off my shoulders now that I don't have to eagerly check my mailbox everyday. I might also be able to get a teaching assistantship over the summer at Xavier so good news coming my way. No idea where I'm living during the summer, possibly with my mother or an apartment above a friend's bar.
Edit: Was just accepted to present my paper on fetishism, skin and white privilege at a conference at the end of the month. I feel like an academic today, yay!
