Couldn't agree more, you're doing the right thing. The same is happening to me. My parents are fucking retired and do not have the slightest idea of what the job market looks like right now, so they're being assholes about me doing jobs waaaaaay below my master's degree. But between this and doing nothing? snort A no-brainer to me.Fuck our families.

it was ok. the job will be quite crap and the manager makes no qualms about it, but on the plus side it's a good name on the CV, i get access to all the training materials, and i'll be working with several senior managers, some of whom are known to recruit interns for their own teams, so let's see. it's up to me to show my best for the coming months. the team also seems pretty cool, so that's also a good sign.
