After about a month I feel great taking St. John's Wort. It is just like speed. that is, if you have ADHD. I have lots of dopamine now thatnks to that and the gallon of strong black tea which is loaded with levadopa.

I am cautiously optimistic. I recorded a few songs that just could not have been any better. Go West's "King of Wishful Thinking" has been a favorite for 20 years and is exceedingly difficult. I am nailing songs in one take, no more composites. One take and that is it. A mistake means do the whole thing again. Whoever made that comment about me being like some wanna be pop star that goes on TV and sucks ass probably isn't aware that I am a virtuoso at pop music even if I am still aspiring to be a five octave metal singer that can do an Ayreon-like album solo. And Harsh and Death metal vocals. That's coming along nicely. I wonder if my future self is teaching me or if it is real this time. I hope it is real this time.

I've been working 40 hours a week. It's been fine. I find it much easier dealing with people this time around. I suppose studying psychology really helps with a strong combination of philosophy, of course. In any case, won't be much longer until I graduate. Things are looking up.

I'm done with my Master's. I finished everything on Wednesday. Yesterday, I cleaned, watched the whole second season of 30 Rock, then went to bed at 8pm. Bad foreshadowing of this summer.

Most likely. Insofar as I'm leaving philosophy and going into cultural studies I have no idea what I'll teach. I don't do literature, so not English and I don't do modern philosophy so not Philosophy and I don't do stats, so not Sociology. I'll end up probably teaching at a small college basic composition or philosophy courses knowing my luck, but I would enjoy that honestly. I just want to pollute kids minds with my leftist ideals.

I see. Sometimes small but very open-minded colleges are the best because of the atmosphere and the intimacy only found in those places. I have contemplated being a professor in something like the esoteric or occult studies. Time will tell.

god damn it. so i went to Bairro Alto last night with my sister and some friends and whatever and we ran into this friend of a friend who was a hot economist who loved books and fight club the movie. my god, i thought, there are a million things to talk about.

I'm tired. I started a new position working at a new school working with middle school autism students. I've found it disturbing that 'teachers' with degrees are completely lost in how to properly work with autistic students. I've been working in the field since 2000 and now the teachers I work with are either asking me for help or just simply amazed by the things that I know and have learned were never really taught to them. Anyway, this one student I work with is bigger than me and loves to inflict pain and my wife has been worried as I come home with bruises and bleeding. That's coming to an end thankfully as I have put the mojo on him 🙂 We've had to totally change the program and I'm showing the staff a few things, inparticularly how to get expressive language from this one student. It was nice to have a few specialists ( OT and Speech) tell me that I really need to finish my degree in special education so that I may perhaps take over the program.
