In health related news, I am enjoying being able to drink something without fear of it pouring into my lungs. It's been a long time for that. I am smoking far far less that ever because it doesn't even occur to me to do so for several hours or when I stop my pack of smokes. I feel really good that I haven't needed a cigarette in the last few weeks since my "throat operation"
I seem to be coughing my ass off though after I sing, so I definitely need to work the right side of my voice to toughen it up more. It's been in a state where no air could get to that side or hit those folds for years because of how messed up the cartillage in my throat has been since late 2009. I almost choked back then and pulled everything apart to get the obstruction out. Apparently I didn't put everythinbg back together right.
I wonder if my subconscious set that whole thing up just to make practice that much more difficult.
