We are currently looking for new members to join the team.

We are looking for several new reviewers covering any or all styles of metal. The only thing we ask is that you are dedicated and willing to contribute on a weekly basis. We have had many people join in the past that wrote a few reviews and quit soon after and we would like to avoid this if possible. So unless you are highly motivated to join us for years to come and are willing to review every week, please do not apply for the position. We only seek the true metal fans out there with a passion for this music genre and willing to make our readers discover new albums week after week.

We could also use one or more interviewers. Again we are looking for people can deliver with consistency and passion. A minimum of 2 interviews per month will be required. It will give you the talk with some of your metal heroes and even meet them, as you can use metalreviews.com to interview bands while they are on tour for example. Some other interviews will be either phoners or email ones (depending on what the band/label provides). For phoners and in person you will need a recording device (smartphones can do this just fine) so the interview can be retranscripted afterwards.

We also look for one or more news editors. Their job will be to aggregate the news feed surrounding the metal scene and post news items preferably daily. So like the other positions, this requires someone willing to do some research and be active almost daily in the team.

Requirements : For the reviewers position, please send us two reviews (one positive and one negative) to contact@metalreviews.com. Please copy paste this for the subject : I WANT TO JOIN METALREVIEWS STAFF (use capitals for the subject, the best is to just copy and paste it). Then we suggest you present yourself, why you wish to join and explain in a few words the motivations driving you. Also add your reviews in doc or pdf format, or simply as part of the email itself. Try to respect MetalReviews format (use all our fields : band name, album name, label name, no of songs, time, killing songs, quote,... etc) as much as possible. Thank you.
