SPINAL TAP: Entire New Album Available For Streaming

"Back From The Dead", the first new album in almost two decades from England's "loudest heavy metal band" SPINAL TAP, is available for streaming in its entirety at Spinner.com. Due on Tuesday, June 16, 2009, the follow-up to 1992's "Break Like The Wind" sees TAP members David St. Hubbins, Nigel Tufnel and Derek Smalls unearth their long-self-suppressed studio versions of the classic songs from the movie "This is Spinal Tap", as well as six new additional tracks and an exclusive hour-long accompanying DVD featuring a track-by-track video commentary by the band. "Back From The Dead" also features guest appearances by Phil Collen (DEF LEPPARD), Keith Emerson, John Mayer and Steve Vai.

IMMORTAL: New Album Track Listing Revealed

Norwegian black metallers IMMORTAL have finalized the track listing for their new album, "All Shall Fall", tentatively due in the fall via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD was recorded at Grieghallen and Abyss studios in Norway and Sweden, respectively.

TROUBLE Issues New Album Update

Legendary Chicago doomsters TROUBLE are hard at work on material for the band's long-awaited new album, "The Dark Riff", tentatively due later in the year. The group states, "Everything is moving along nicely in the writing stage. Bruce [Franklin; guitar] and Rick [Wartell; guitar] have brought some massive, killer riffs to the sessions that are sure to please ANY TROUBLE fan.

"The sessions are proving to be a very creative environment, and are spawning the band's creative juices where every last riff seems to get heavier than the last.

"As of this date the music for fourteen songs is complete. The vocals are coming in a bit at a time and sounding incredible.

SLAYER's KERRY KING Says Forthcoming Album 'Has A Little Bit Of Everything'

California thrashers SLAYER are putting the finishing touches on their new album with producer Greg Fidelman for a late summer release via American Recordings/Sony BMG. The forthcoming CD will include the song "Psychopathy Red", which was made available as a limited-edition seven-inch vinyl disc on April 18, 2009 as part of the third annual Record Store Day.

Prior to the new album release, SLAYER will join forces with MEGADETH to perform together for the first time in more than 15 years when they co-headline four shows in Canada in late June.
