I've heard "Pain for pleasure", it was at the end of one of their videos I had seen on tv. That song is pretty good actually, badass heavy metal shiz.

The video is hilarious!

Since it's likely none of you downloaded the other tracks I posted, here's one more for the sake of wasting time!

SUM 41 - LIVE METALLICA MEDLEY

The little blonde singer dude is singing, he doesn't have much of a metal voice, but musically this is damn good. Check the soloing by the brown dude. Good shit.

There's no way in hell that I'm interrupting Kyuss for Sum 41. Maybe soon...

Fuck Kyuss and their shitty music-ruining production.

Wooooooo, Nick Olivieri steal a date of yours once, did he?

And I click that link you gave to Stefan, but it doesn't work. Trying the Metallica medley now, but I doubt I'll like it...

Edit: It's alright. So he can play the guitar, wonderful.

i saw sun 41 by accident at a festival once in southern florida and i was very impressed with mr. Brownsound's guitar playing skill. More than once they broke down and went into a massive solo played by him.

Also one of my band mates lieks sum 41 and there newest album, chuck ( ie, the one that did not sell) has some actually good songs.

I will give this new thing of his a listen, if for no other reason than to prove to my guitarist that this guy was all that was good in the band.

I actually saw this whole breakup coming, I can relate to that. As said before, they are heavely influenced by metal music but they didnt make a metal band because they knew that playin punk or whatever they play would make them more money. Its a question ive pondered myself as a musician. I would think i would just play what i love which is metal, but this sum41 guy made some money with his tenure in sum41 and had enough.

Some of the songs from sum41 like "pain for pleasure" are basically iron maiden like metal. I remember seeing a video of them playing the trooper in front of their fans and I just laughed so much cause their fans were so bored and were not into the music at all.

So yea, I have a lot of faith in this guy with metal, and I will be looking forward for his bands release.

Or, you know, like, maybe, you know, they also like punk music.
