Rather than continuously posting in the 2012 thread.

I want my old Baroness back circa Red, but I dig this sound. I just want it to be called something other than Baroness and for Baroness to go back to the early EP sound.

Is Baizley doing all the vox on this because there is quite a bit of variety there for be a single dude?

And right now I'm liking Yellow more. Green seemed to meander.

Way too much filler for the albums to work out, Yellow had a few good songs and Green had too much of a folky artqueer vibe. Baizleys voice gets aggravating after a while try that on a double lp and you have a terrible experience

Holy shit, Steve, 35 posts today? You're gonna be back to your old post count in no time (assuming you can keep it in your proverbial pants).

Completely agree on your assessment of Green, but I want to say Yellow actually turned out to be a pretty solid pop metal album a la Torche but way better.

But that does explain all the bot issues we have been having lately.

I think it's a solid album. It took some time for their new sound to grow on me but it did. Do I think there's some filler? Yes, I really do. Little Things is just bad for example. On the other hand, Eula is probably one of the best songs I've heard this year. All in all I'd say it's a good album that could've been a fantastic album if they had put the strongest tracks of Yellow and Green on one disc.

The story of every double disc album. I don't hate little things and kinda want to say every bit of Yellow is awesome. Yeah.
