Requeim for a Dream is an amazing(no cliche) view into the endlessly abysmal reality of heroine addiction. I personally dig it and suggest it. Yet, if in search of a truly mind-expanding jouney of film in to the human reality and spirit itself, I would ever more highly suggest Apocalypse Now, if you haven't seen it.

Daren Aronofsky slays any other hollywood director. And movies aren't about saying something, they're about entertainment. I mean Crash said people are racist, but was still a crappy movie.
