Almost all of the power metal worth listening came from Germany int the 80's imo...

Fixed.

Helloween, Running Wild etc.

Nah, they're listenable but I'm still sticking to my opinions. Never raised the same feeling as Sonata Arctica or Stratovarius for example. Not to deny the influence of these german bands of course. But for me they just sound boring mostly.

+1. They're good bands, but the finns just have metal in the blood.

To try and drag this topic back on track, amusingly Rabbi Wotsit The Traitor lives nearby. The local community is rather pissed off at his traitorism, and police are guarding his house. Signs have appeared on the doors of local delis, saying they don't serve Neturei Karta, with a big picture of his face on it. I expect him to be lynched if he doesn't move after this...

Sadly, the local Jew tabloid rag's website is down, but they're really doing a Daily Mail on the guy. I'm starting to feel sorry for him...
