Apparently you get sweatshop type places in Korea and stuff where kids just mine e-gold all day in WoW and then people pay real money to their cruel masters to get this e-gold.
Better than getting their little fingers caught in sewing machines I guess.
Yep. My friend did this. He said he paid for the gold through paypal, he had to give his phone number. After he made the payment he got a phonecall where someone said, "Ogrimmar Inn. Five minute." Hahaha. He went there, met a dude, and got the gold. He said it was fucking weird. Haha.
Hahaha. Well, there are bots that you can use to get gold without playing the game yourself, you just turn on the bot and it goes around killing shit for you. My friend used one some time ago, until he got banned because some admin talked to him while he wasn't at the computer, so the admin realized it was a bot. Now he just buys his gold.
The problem with these games is all the grinding you have to do to get gold, just walk around killing stuff for hours and hours, it could be fixed by making more quests that have gold rewards, but that'd be hell for the programmers and the story writers.
