HALP! I'm trying to find an upgrade for my shitty old Nokia. Someone recommended the Nokia 5300 to me - any good? Don't want anything too expensive, has to work with a virgin sim, I really only use mine for calls and texting although MP3 ringtones might be fun. Any suggestions?

Well Ive had several mid-range Samsungs and they've never let me down, you should be able to find something pretty affordable that will allow for mp3 ringtones and wont fucking explode on you :)

I have the W810i. It's pretty good, only complaint I have with it is Sony's damned adapter thing for the earphones. Methinks it's not too expensive these days as well.
