Ask anyone that actually speaks arabic if the subtitles actually match what Bin Laden was reportedly saying on those tapes. A lot of military experts in the language seem to think we just made some shit up and slapped it on the screen hoping no one would notice. These things haven't been aired more than once, so once the perception that the video "admiting" he did it exists, it is taken by "fact" forever. His age is another clue, remember how he "aged" a decade from the "9/11 confession" tape until the next verifiable piece of video tat made the rounds on middle eastern TV? They spun that into "he's in really poor health," despite 8 years later never considering that someone that is "dying" would still be alive.
None of that really matters. The FBI's top dog in much matters, the guy who investigated him forever and knows more about him that anyone says the tapes were doctored and he never admitted to doing it and that the FBI can't even claim that is the reason he is a wanted man. That may be one man's opinion, but it doesn't get any more credible.
Anyway. It's really no shock how politicians are treating this story. They are exploiting the fact muslims live in the country to scare people. There is nothing to be scarred of at all. They have a far better track record than Christians!
And here I thought I couldn't like you any less.
