All depends on what you're writing. I'd go for B as It feels more 'Gothic' and moody. I do like A though as it has a warmer feel, so if you're writing about optimism, perhaps A's a better one to use.

I very much agree with mentalmark on the fact that it depends a lot on the content. .I honestly doubt though that this is filled to the brim with optimism :P . For some reason B was the least attractive to me, the grey shade is very moody but not an eye-catcher. I'd pick between C and D. A is also pretty good (as a photographer I have always liked the rule of thirds) but the "Eyesore" logo is too small for the place where it's placed at and it gets lost. With a slightly bigger "Eyesore" A should also work perfectly. But this is all just a dry judgement since we don't know what's in there to say which cover fits the most.

A and D look pretty similar, but I picked A because I like the title being off to the side.

My poetry is dark, I'd say. It's not evil, though, which is why I'm not sure about A and D, which look sort of sickly. But I still like them—all of them, actually. Thus this poll. =)

And leeeeeee, I didn't do the painting, that was done by someone I know online. I change the colors and added layers and the fonts and stuff with Photoshop. I usually do my own covers, but I couldn't come up with anything I liked. I was also torn between naming the book "Eyesore" or "Between Gods." I'm not sure which it'll be yet, but if I name it "Between Gods" I won't use this cover.

And Kenneth Wood sounds better than Ken Wood or Kenny Wood. When I used to act, I went by Kenwood Allen (my first and last combined, then my middle name). I thought about using that name for my books before. Anyway, it's just a name. At least it doesn't have an extra E.

A. But try downsizing the 'Poetry by Kenneth Wood' and placing it under 'Eyesore', perhaps even in the same colour.

Don't align everything in the middle, like in B, C and D. Otherwise you'll have that red horizontal line on the right doing nothing at all, turning it into an afterthought.

Edit: and Leee is right, your name seems a bit silly in that swirly font, I suggest a more reserved font.

I like B. A and D have too much red. What's the meaning with "eyesore", if you don't mind me asking?

That swirly font cost me $20! It's the same font used for the last Anathema album.

I'm not...uh...properly "equipped" for porn. :lame:

And no, I don't do plays. This is just trite, boring poetry; but chicks dig it.

I thought C was the best...the title off to the side looks kind of weird, and I like how C is darker than D.

So...this poll hasn't helped one bit! Kidding. I'll work on it a little more tonight, change some things and post them.
