Is Pheonix good enough to beat the Wings? They have beaten them twice so far and have 2-1 series lead. But can they actually eliminate the Wings? Game 4 will be huge.

Of all people to score, it has to be Daniel fucking Carcillo. I hate that guy, but hey it's the mucker and grinders who win playoff games, and Carcillo did exactly that.

Flyers up 2-1

Pittsburgh currently beating the Sens 4-2 in the third with roughly 5:30 left. Crosby and Malkin are scoring, but it's Max Talbot who has been huge tonight.

Jesus a crossbar and an early whistle, luck is on Nashvilles side tonigt. Chicago should be up 2-0, but they are not. I like when the fans chant "Bull shit" verly loud and clearly the TSN announcers shut up so we can hear it at home.

Still 0-0 halfway into the 1st

I don't think any team who has to pull their goalie in the final minute has scored a goal yet. Pens beat the Sens 4-2 and take a 2-1 series lead.

Doesn't look like there will be any sweeps in the first round.

First Chicago playoff shut-out in 14 years, in only Niemi's second career playoff game. He surely made up for that weak ass goal he let in in game one.

Series tied 1-1

currently the Sharks and Avs are tied at 0s in the 2nd period. Pretty dull game so far, no Heatley for the Sharks.

Yeah, he went from goat to hero pretty quick. I blame the game 1 loss on the fact that the Cubs were in the arena. Any team in that close a proximity to them is destined to be a loser.

if he can keep up the play from game 2, the Hawks have quite the talented young goalie on their hands. Plus, playing in the playoffs is an experience you just can't teach.

I like seeing young players perform well in the playoffs, like Doughty or Edler in the Nucks/Kings series.

but man oh man, anybody else catch the San Jose-Colorado game last night? Anderson was huuuuuuuge. Patrick Roy like. Just unbelievable, then Dan Boyle scores on his own net. HA

Yeah that was just so disgusting, Anderson stole that game over and over. And that goal was just icing on the cake. If I was a Sharks fan I'd probably have killed myself.

Another Kings game tonight. I'm fired up!

I wonder if it completely deflates them and they get another early playoff exit.

Last night's game was the most hilarious hockey game I've ever seen. Good thing I don't like the Sharks much. Go Anderson! I do feel bad for Marleau though. Still, I'll take another early Sharks playoff exit. It's the best running joke of the NHL!

What a play by Recchi. That's how you win in the playoffs.

2-1 B's late in the 3rd

Big save by Rask, and then an icing by the Sabres = a 2-1 win and a 2-1 series lead for the Bruins.

First blowout of the playoffs, and it couldn't of happened to a classier team. Caps win 5-1 and take a 2-1 series lead.

Can't say that I'm not dissapointed, but I do think the game really game down to goaltending, and that the play between the two teams was pretty equal. Kudos to Varlamov and too bad Halak had a bad night.

That graphic is hilarious!

Very glad to see that you've returned Adam.

My B's are looking pretty gosh darn good right now, but this series is going to be the continued grind of 2-1 games.
