I'd take Suh. It's not just the Husker fan in me saying that, its the fact that he eats shards of glass for breakfast and could be a contender against Chuck Norris. I think Bradford is a huuuuge risk. As much as I like him, I'm not sure the Rams should take him. Although, they did clear out their QB spot.

Agreed. I'm not sure what happened though. After the season everybody was slobbering all over Suh saying he would be the #1 pick. Now it's back to Bradford, and I can't understand why? I mean, is he really that good? Suh is a beast and can have an immediate impact in the NFL. Bradford was a good college quaterback, but I really didn't seem him as a physical phenom, like Suh is.

its becuase the team that is picking first really needs a good QB and picking bradford couldd give them one. suh is more talented

They dropped Bulger, they really don't have a choice. Suh going to Detroit would be cool. I've always been a closet Lions fan.

Haha. They need everybody they can get.

I'm really interested to see where Tebow will go.

I was really surprised the Broncos traded away three draft selections to move up and get Tebow...when I'm convinced he would have been available in the 2nd round. I don't think Broncos really addressed their immediate needs at all. But that's okay, since my favorite team is whoever is playing the Broncos any given weekend.

And since I like black metal, I don't like Mr. Godboy Tebow. Just not allowed. Euronymous would frown on Tebow.

The Tebow selection was mind-boggling, yes.

I'm a 'Godboy' and I hate Tebow.

Well, I'm not a godboy and I always liked Kurt Warner. Go figure.

That's because Warner isn't a pretentious self righteous dick wad.

That's a bit harsh, no? I like Tebow. He plays hard, that's for sure. He does come off a bit awkward sometimes though.

I'd say that sums it up. I always got the impression that Warner wasn't the in-yer-face fundie type...plus I really like the "out of nowhere" type of NFL stories, which obviously his is the top of the list.

Well, I didn't particularly have an opinion about Tebow till he aligned himself with Focus on the Family and put out that BS commercial for the superbowl. The story his family likes to tell is rather sketchy, to say the least. They keep claiming during the pregnancy the doctor recommended abortion...except they were living in the Philippines at the time, where abortion has been illegal for quite some time. No doctor was going to recommend an illegal procedure. So their story strikes me as fabrication for a political stance.

Perhaps I'm a purist about football, but I just want to watch them play the game...I don't care about or want to hear their political views, even if they agree with mine. I want great TD passes, not preaching.

Maybe it's just my hate for UF and the SEC.

Awkward is definitely a good description.

College football fans, we must discuss the madness that is going on right now.

As a Husker fan I'm pumped. Nebraska vs. Iowa every year? Are you kidding me? Plus I will never have to pay for to watch a Husker game, ever. Better games, better pay, better.... I'm so excited.

Whats gonna happen with Texas, Oklahoma?

Crazy shit man. I can't wait to see how things actually settle out.

Also of note, USC just got fucked by the NCAA.

So the Big 12 is dead!!

I guess they lost enough times to the SEC to finally implode.

Oh yes, USC totally got it today. When Pete Carroll left for that job with the Seahawks you knew it was coming.

The thing that sucks about the USC mess is that the students that are currently there are screwed while the culprits got away. Either way, I'm glad the University of Spoiled Children got what was coming.

And yeah, the Big 12 (Texas' conference) is dead. Hello Big 10!

We welcome you! Nebraska was always my favorite from the Big 12, because they fought the Texans the toughest (Oklahoma doesn't count as they are basically North Texas). I just hope Texas and friends don't come with you--they can ship out to the PAC 16.

My favorite thing about the Big 10 over the years has been the 12:30 starts and (after September) the cold ass games. The thought of PSU playing in 80 degree weather in Austin or College Station in November seems unnatural.

I hear you. Go North! I love cold football games. Last year's Mizzou vs. Husker game was one for the ages.
