Anybody can win anytime. And Hendricks can beat anybody with one punch, but Condit showed holes in Hendricks game and GSP is the kind of guy who will exploit those holes. GSP couldn't take Kos down, so he broke his eye socket instead. It is known.

But still, anything can happen and Hendricks is a guy who can make things happen.

I don't think Hendricks wrestling is good enough to stop GSP's takedowns and I doubt Hendricks is very good off his back, most wrestlers aren't.

Still, Hendricks always comes out swinging and if one of those crazy hay-makers connect I don't know what's gonna happen.

Alexander Gustafsson injured. I didn't buy a ticket but my friends are fucked. That card is awful without Alex.

Lyoto Machida expected to replace him. Still a good fight.

And man, it might not have name power but this is an awesome card. Losing Gus sucks, as I was looking forward to him destroying Mousasi, but Machida will do it now setting up a #1 contenders match between the Maulaer and the Dragon. Win-win.

Also, Condit says GSP will beat Hendricks. Pointless, but he's gone 8 rounds with them, id trust what he has to say.

Haven't heard anything about Machida, that'd be a pretty awesome replacement fight that not many could complain about. Did you read that somewhere or are you trying to pull an April 1st on me? :)

Read it on MMAJunkie and MMATorch. Nothing official, but both sites are usually pretty reliable.

So Gus got cut and had to pull out of the fight. Mousasi fucked his knee up not long ago and was going to pull out but didn't because of the cut to Gus. Pearson broke his foot while sparring with his coach backstage just before his fight.

This card was/is cursed.

Still, good fights. Connor McGregor looks brutal. Can't wait to see him take on tougher competition.

^Was that the Fuel card? I was at the bar and everybody had already staked TVs out for different things, and I had to battle to get the baseball game turned on.

TUF 17 Finale this weekend, picks? Obviously we won't know who's fighting who until tonight, but the rest of the card is up.

For the featured fights, I pick Faber-Browne-Tate. Have to look at the rest of the card to complete my picks.

And Uriah Hall to win TUF. Samman looks tough, but Hall should take them all.

Faber-Tate-Browne-Palaszewski-Pineda-Sicilia.

Uriah Hall is fucking nightmare-ish. Dude has had nasty TKOs every time. I kinda hope Dylan(?)(whatever the native American dude's name is) can hang in there with him. I like that guy, love me some muay thai. The guy that Dana White wants to see Uriah fight in the end, that guy is nasty too, and might be the closest to physically hang in there with Uriah. I am really curious to see what an Uriah fight looks like that he doesn't end in thirty seconds.

Seriously. Damn. His boxing didn't look good at all, and it was two and a half years ago. I'd like to see Dylan keep it going to see if Uriah has improved any. His boxing looked a little hesitant there.

So Zingano is a tough bitch. I totally thought Tate had that in the bag. Jorgensen showed that he's hard to finish and is tough as hell, but Faber is one of the best in the world. I like that Gastellum stopped the Hall hype train with a hard fought split decision. Most people believe he will be at welterweight soon. And lastly Browne totally landed some illegal elbows but I think Gonzaga was finished before them anyway so it's a clean win and tough luck for Napao.

Fuck Bubba McDaniel.

I thought the prelims were excellent, some really cool fights and finishes there. Tate-Zingano was awesome too. And I think Uriah felt a ton of pressure but also bought into the hype himself a little bit, he was trying to fight like Anderson Silva. Anyway, a learning experience for him and kudos to Gastelum, that kid has heart and determination in abundance.

Overall this season of TUF really was one of their best ever. Next season is gonna be interesting too.

Yeah if you like watching Jones kick the shit out of people. All Sonnen has is wrestling, albeit he's one of the best in the UFC at wrestling, Jones is also a damn good wrestler and much bigger. Jones is a much better striker, and he submits jiu-jitsu black belts like they are nothing. If this fight makes it past the 3rd round then Sonnen should retire right away because that's the best he will ever do, ever.
