Tennis is awesome bro, takes an entire playoff series to match the ebb and flow of a 5-set match and even then it doesn't have the intensity being focused entirely on just two people.

Well this Final is certainly brewing up a lot of discussion here.

i've tried to come up with something to say.

but not enough people here care. So I save my hockey talk for other websites.

I'm glad Chicago didn't go up 3-0 because series has been closer than that... that's about all I have to say.

Another fun as hell game, though it'd be nice to see more of that whole defence/goaltending thing these playoffs. Still, I've been having a hell of a time watching these, though this was by far the most one sided of the games. Go Chicago in 7!

A lot of people are complaining about a lack of D or goaltending. But what if both teams offense is so good that this is the best the D and goalies can be? Maybe Leighton truly is a brutal goalie and all the teams in the east just really suck and made him look good.

Oh and Pronger looked old out there tonight.

Nah, I don't believe that. Look, Philly has a good offense, and Chicago has a great one (in general I mean), and both offenses are playing very well, but this isn't exactly the best offensive hockey I've ever seen. There have been lots of out of position defensemen, defensive collapses, and plain bad goals on both goalies as they flop around like Aebischer. Entertaining as hell to watch though.

And I mean, it's not the first time a young and inexperienced (in Niemi's case) or hot (in Leighton's case) goalie has collapsed down the stretch. Niemi had that fantastic game 2, but otherwise, was anyone expecting that the clash of the goaltenders would be between Niemi and Leighton? Both, in the end, aren't great goalies (though Niemi has a lot of potential, I think) and it's just too bad Leighton had to go hot against my Habs

If Niemi can get those rebounds under control, he'll be a great goalie. He's already good, just needs to get those horrobles turnovers under control. If he played for any other team he'd probably get eaten alive because of them. He's fortunate that he's got Keith and Seabrook in Front of him.

As for my original comment about the D and goalies, I was joking. But Leighton truly is garbage, just had a hot streak and Chris Pronger.

Staying up to watch game 6... Man can these refs just let them play? It's potentially the final game of the season, I don't want to watch special teams all night.

The ending was surreal since the goal light didn't come on. Leighton knew it was over and the Hawks were mobbing before the official word. Thank you Chicago for quieting Flyers fans!

Also, I predicted Hawks in 6, so I must get a cookie or something?

Awful, awful ending. What was supposed to be a moment of incredible excitement turned into a moment of confusion.

Oh well. Congrats Hawks, terrific team.
