It's gonna be a great clash between Man Utd and Barcelona. I'm rooting for Barca but after seeing how United raped Arsenal and Barca struggled against Chelsea, it might be United's year, again.

It's the worst ref I've seen in my life. He did everything wrong, for two sides.

But we win. And it will be a great final.

still can't get over this. this was fucking ridiculous, clearly UEFA wanted a Barça x Man United final and did everything they could to make it happen. Porto had at least 1 penalty disallowed in Old Trafford (mind you i fucking hate Porto, yet even i saw that) and now this 'fucking disgrace'.

Sky Sports commentators, including Ruud Gullit, go over the most controversial moments:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SASM_NzheK0
i'd give a penalty in all but the last of them. Ballack hit Eto'o from point-blank range, it was all he could do to cover his face. clearly unintentional.

oh well, at least we have the lulz.

I don't believe in conspiracies... Then how you explain the red card to Abidal? letting Barcelona with 10 all second half don't seem the way to get into a MU - Barça final (and he didn't touch Anelka).

Or the clear penalty to Henry in first match.

I saw an horrible ref. The one in first match was bad, but this one was worse.

Conspiracy theories are stupid in this case.. The ref got it all thrown on him and he made some big mistakes. This is not the worst I have seen though.

admittedly a conspiracy theory is taking it too far. Abidal was wronly sent off, but still there is no doubt Chelsea got the short end of the stick. 1 red card doesn't compare to 3 or 4 penalties.

In 180 minutes, things go even... I see 2 penalties (not 3 or 4) against 1 wrongly expulsion, 1 penalty and 1 expulsion (Ballack in first) ignored.

True, and I also see that Chelsea was the better team in both matches :P

We all know how awesome it was to see the Chelsea-players cry again also. Damn I hate that team so much. i can't feel sorry for a team like that. Drogba has cried wolf his entire career with his acting. Same as Ronaldo, that. They won't get the free-kicks and penalties they should because of that.

Old Firm game tomorrow with the mighty Gers a point behind Celtic, and three games remaining afterwards. If we win it's game the fuck on, if we lose they will need to throw the title away. Come on Gers!

Chelsea were no more physical in Camp Nou than Barcelona. and i see 3 penalties, 2 fouls on Drogba (i think) and Pique's blatant handling of the ball.
Barcelona are playing the best football in Europe, but in the 180 minutes Chelsea were superior, in the first leg they defended like any team could be expected to (except better), in the second leg Barcelona had most of the possession but failed to threaten Cech's goal until the last minute, while Chelsea had little of the ball but everytime they got it they only stopped in Barça's box. Hiddink had Guardiola against the ropes.

on a lighter note...

I was born to be United,
Daddy told me, when I was just a baby;
When I was five, I went down Warwick Road;
Now I'm addicted to the only place I'll go

Chorus

Take me home,
United Road,
To the place I belong,
To Old Trafford,
To see United,
Take me home, United Road

All my memories,
Bobby Charlton,
Georgie Best and Cantona,
They came to us from heaven;
And at the Nou Camp in 1999,
On Matt Busby's birthday,
Oh it was party time

Chorus

I watch the Reds,
I feel the noise,
The crowd is roaring;
The Stretford End is singing
And the fans are going wild;
And when I'm gone I get a feeling
That I should've been home yesterday,
Yesterday, oh!

of course there's no denying United's superior football, but i won't stop at least disliking the club.

Congratulations, Metal_xxx & all Manchester United fans...

Another Hymn...

Tot el camp és un clam,
som la gent blaugrana,
tant se val d'on venim,
si del Sud o del Nord.
Ara estem d'acord, estem d'acord,
una bandera ens agermana.

Chorus:
Blaugrana al vent,
un crit valent,
tenim un nom,
el sap tothom:
Barça, Barça, Barça!

Jugadors, seguidors,
tots units fem força.
Són molts anys plens d'afanys
són molts gols que hem cridat
i s'ha demostrat, s'ha demostrat,
que mai ningú no ens podrà tòrcer.

Chorus.

Traslated to english:

The whole stadium
loudly cheers
We’re the blue and claret supporters
It matters not where we hail from
Whether it's the south or the north
Now we all agree, we all agree,
One flag unites us in brotherhood.

Chorus:
Blue and claret blowing in the wind
One valiant cry
We’ve got a name that everyone knows:
Barça, Barça, Barça!

Players, Supporters
United we are strong.
We’ve achieved much over the years,
We’ve shouted many goals
And we have shown, we have shown,
That no one can ever break us.

Chorus.

Next 27, the Champions final... Only one will be the winner.

Luís Piçarra - Ser Benfiquista (To Be a Benfiquista)

i am a Benfiquista
and it makes me proud,
i have the energy
that makes anyone great,
i am from a figthing club,
to the fight with fervor,
that never found an equal in portugal!

to be a Benfiquista
is to have the immense flame in your soul
that conquers us,
that brings us light form the sun
that smiling from above comes to kiss us
with a pride very much their own,
their vibrant shirts
surging in the fields,
they are hopping poppies!

yes it gets a little bit weird toward the end. it's not our original anthem, sadly the original Avante Benfica was banned by the dictatorship and lost (Avante, something like Onwards! is a very leftist expression). and they still say our club was siding with Salazar's regime
