Sweden played like shit last night, but they managed to get away with a win anyway. Now the game against Denmark on the 10th of October is going to be intense.
Soccer is not good for me.

Sweden will probably make the playoff, as Denmark will probably let their Nordic pals through, and the other match is an easy one. Portugal has to win the next two matches and Sweden has to tie or lose at least one for us to make the play-offs.
Portugal has been complete shit this qualification and i only hope the players (from clubs like Real Madrid, Man United, Inter Milan and Chelsea) understand just how incredibly embarassing it is, especially Ronaldo who's an arrogant piece of shit, the coach is fired and doesn't get any job outside of fucking Saudi Arabia for the rest of his career and that the federation heads are all replaced, though i'll bet anything that they'll still be around for a few more years, those fucking bloodsuckers.

Am I worrying too much that the midfielders scored most of the goals? Needs a bit of tweaking, that.
Portugal was like that for the last few years - we didn't have a decent striker so Figo, Rui Costa, Maniche, Deco and Ronaldo (when he played as a winger, which by the way is where he is at his best) scored most of the goals, because they had instinct and the habit of charging into the box in shooting position quite often.
in fact i think it's when Portugal started playing for the striker (either useless Hugo Almeida or Ronaldo out of his position) that our problems started.
i'd say that player-by-player England has an incredible squad, and that so far Capello seems to have succeeding in making a team out of them. i think England has everything to make it at least to the semi-finals in 2010, along with Brazil, Spain and Germany.
