Just got from library (after a bit of a kerfuffle because I lost my ticket, like a nonce) :
New York Graphic by Adam Lloyd Baker and
The Slayers Of Seth by Paul Doherty (ancient Egyptian private detective, I loved the Falco books by Lindsey Davis, hopefully this'll be as good)

If you like Stephen King - Sure, why the hell not.

If you know that he's a reprehensible corporate whore with only three halfway decent books, then no.

Now Reading: Image

Personally, I thought the first three were pretty kickass. Can't vouch for any after that, though I heard they sucked.

Except A Knight's Tale was pretty shitty, whereas this was incredibly awesome.

it was a fun movie though, could have been much better of course. Yeah and Sworn Sword is pretty damn good as well.

Do you know if they're planning on releasing a graphic novel of The Sworn Sword? If not, I'll just check out Legends II.

Started New York Graphic, and it's awesome, the first chapter alone is the best I've read for a while. Go get this.

Just finished Dr. Faustus by Christopher Marlowe. Completely awesome stuff, and just about as good as the Goethe version, Faust.

The Complete Grimm's Fairy Tales

I need to read it for a "Children's Literature" course, at school. It's the first time I read something by the Grimm's. Well, I was quite surprised by some of the versions I found there...Especially "Rumpelstiltskin". He really ends in a weird way...

Tell me about it, I used to have that book when I was little, some scars will never heal :)... How the hell can anyone rip himself in half anyway.
