In a desperate attemt to get this thread onto its rails again:

My least favourite poster is Husker, because he just says "I like this" or "I don't like that", and that's it. I don't like him. I don't like Holy_Terror either because in my view he's a poser. He poses to be a 37 year old tr00 metal head, while he's just a kid that lives in his own thrash metal fantasy.

I think Zad posts too much as well. I have nothing against his person or what he has to say, but I too read the entire forum, and I don't feel the urgre to reply in literately every thread. It gets annoying for me when someone doesn't really have anything to say (Husker), and I think you simple can't have something to say about everything (as is evident). Zad, you know I like you as one of the best around on this forum, but you gotta quit the hyperactivity man. If you get into a discussion and you think you're right but you don't see an end, then just step out of it, an option I used not to consider either. I can think back how people must have had to scroll down 5 pages of Gast1 & WinterIsComming flamewar. Must have been damned annoying.

But that's just my thing, I'm sure other people think differently. I think I also should cease my war on close-mindedness, it's pointless and I'll just offer music for those who want to try something else.

Some quick points:

I am not open minded and I never will be when it comes to music or films I like. Especially with Metal. The most open minded I have been in the last 5 years was to try a Witchcraft album and I only did that to spite someone who told me not to buy it. I am way open minded though compared to a lot of people I genrally talk Metal with.

Yeah I am 37, yeah I have great job, all of that, been out of the basement for a long time, I have seen more of the world and different cultures then most of you ever will. I can deal with a lot and do on a daily basis.

I like to listen to Metal, stay young acting, whatever. I love it because I can escape from everything else and it makes me feel 17 again sometimes and everything else goes away in my somewhat fucked up and stressed out life where a lot of people depend on me. I come on here to have fun, talk shit about the music I love and that is it. I think it is fun to talk shit and argue and stuff and it really isn't even personal, it is just me.

Anyways, just an explanation, I could give two shits what anyone things about me on here, but I enjoy posting, chatting, letting go and even being immature, fuck Metal is all about that guys, an escape, something I am very serious and passionate about because it has always been there and always makes me feel better, etc.

Sorry you guys are so serious, but I don't think I am going to get banned anytime soon because I don't personally call people fuck wads or whatever Zad's latest word is for me. I state my opinions on Metal, I argue and I have fun and I enjoy the reviews on here and always have, long before I dscoverd your forum. So don't worry, I will be around awhile.

He is always trying to indirectly persuade us all to start listening to hardcore. Radagast said he accidently bought a hardcore album the other day, but I think he was subliminally influenced by that bastard Noodles. Plus he has had that same goddamned avatar from the Diamond for Disease cover for ever now, and it's seriously starting to freak me out. :evil:

Truthfully, I only reply when I have something to say. You're right about getting drawn into pointless arguments, though...
