I watched a buttload of movies this weekend.

But let's just say of all the movies watched, The Lion King was one of the best.

:D

Slither was a nice combination of gross and funny.

You know what it reminded me besides obviously Dawn of the Dead and Shaun. But an 80's movie called "Society" you should check it out........ http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0098354/

I watched School of Rock last night, for like the 5 time. I just put it on as background noise. My favourite part is when they are driving down the road with The Immigrant Song cranked. :dio: and if you look closely you will see a Ministry sticker on the passenger door. :dio:

Tarnation - a weird movie a guy made about his life by collecting various home footage he's shot over the years. His life was weird enough for it to be entertaining, but you could tell that there was a lot of filler to get it to the hour and a half mark so a few parts were pretty boring.

Brick - Strange concept, but well done nonetheless.

I'm currently watching The Longest Yard, the 2005 version.

On Friday I watched Grandma's Boy and 16 Blocks. Grandma's Boy is worth seeing, pretty funny. But 16 Blocks put me to sleep, literally.

Just streamed the Pick of Destiny. Pretty funny.

"Like the tiger, you can see his stripes... That's a Ronnie James Dio song."
"I know. I helped write it."

Barrie, I'm not too sure where Hillsdale is located.

Ah, ok. Hillsdale is about 15 minutes north of Barrie. I live in Hillsdale, not Barrie. I just travel there frequently. Lunar Eclipse is from Barrie.

I just watched this one over the weekend. This movie is one of those that had people hating it or loving it. I had no idea what to expect. It's definitely not as good as the first for one simple reason: too Disney, too goofy. The first one was funny because they jokes were subtle. Part two, while still mildly funny, was a bit too goofy, convenient, and over-the-top to make it nearly as funny as the first. In fact, it was more "cute" than funny.

I didn't find it to be too long, like a lot people complained about. It was an enjoyable movie, I thought; but while part one didn't feel like a Disney movie, this one most definitely did. And the ending...

SPOILER: When did Jack Sparrow become a badass? He runs away from everything in the first movie and again this one; but then at the very end of part two he decides to dive head first into the gaping, toothy maw of a giant leviathan (or whatever that giant squid-like thing was)? Pffft! They should have simply made him try to run only to be eaten. That would have been far more believable.

But I liked it, just not as much as part one. Good flick.

Pretty much exactly how I felt about it too

Watched Click today, would have been better without the really stupid Adam Sandler humour where he isn't even trying. It had a good morale though and made you think about life.

It was really fun to watch in a movie theater full of pirate obssessed geeks. I also thought it was a little too goofy for it's own good, but Johhny Depp could play a blob of shit and still make the part work. It was a fun waste of two hours, but it's a movie you watch once and move on.

I did find Pirates of the Caribbean 2 to be too long; that whole island sequence really pissed me off because it was a complete waste of a half hour, even if it did have some funny moments. In any case, Captain Jack Sparrow is my hero, so I still really enjoyed it, even if they made some bad decisions (aforementioned island thing, bringing back every single character from the first movie, etc...) and I'm looking forward to the third.

I also didn't like how everyone seemed to converge all at one point (that town). A little too convenient. I mean, how big is their world?
