An ugly win but a win nonetheless. Bad news is Doughty got injured, possibly a concussion :(

That fucking SUCKS.

2 reasons, he's on my team and out of all the young guys in the league, Doughty is one of the best and my favourite.

I didn't go to bed until like 7 in the morning for that game. DAMNIT. At least Skinner got his first one. That GWG was helle fluky.

Yup, that could have gone either way. I was thinking OT pretty much all game but the Kings got some bounces and there it is.

I thought Stamkos would come back down to earth this season...

Great game for Montreal tonight. Important that Price got another shutout after... 2 years now? And that Pouliot got a goal. Also happy to see that Andrei Kostitsyn has decided to be awesome this season.

Not such a good night for Toronto. 5-2 for Philly, 40 shots against, 14 for TO. Damn.

The Leafs are starting to show their true colours. All summer people were wondering where the Leafs offense would come from besides Kessel. Then they win 4 in a row and all is ok in leafland. Well, they still need a true top 3 forward. A power forward. Somebody who is not afraid to stand in front of the net, battle in the corners, and just put the damn puck in the net.

Still, we are 4-2-1 plus Kessel and Schenn have looked absolutely awesome so far this year.

Glad the insane road trip is finally over. The guys looked as if on the plane mid-way through the third period last night against Phoenix, let in three stupid goals but got it in overtime..

Defense looked better yesterday and not as sluggish as they have after Finland. Skinner looked great as usual, drawing penalties and taking shots. He does try his moves a bit too often though and turns the puck over, but I guess he shakes that off pretty soon seeing as he'll probably stick all season. His strength impresses me as well, even though he looks like he's ten years old.

Cole has been skating like the demon he used to be back before his injury as well, and LaRose looks as good as he did when he had his 20+ goal season two years ago. The fourth line, and especially Drayson Bowman and Zac Dalpe are also very impressive when they're on the ice. I hope we can continue as we did in the last three games when we get home to familiar territory. Bring on the Caps!

Yeah, sick season so far for you guys.

At least we're .500. Which is nice for a change. Our inconsistency is kind of frustrating though, I hope we can get a streak going some time soon.
