A curious fact: the eldest member of these forums is also the least mature...
your hatred for America will consume you from the inside out, grasshopper; as a buddhist, albeit a narcissistic, bigoted, quasi-buddhist, surely you are aware of the concept of karma.
Spreading negative messages (propaganda) is a negative act, and will boomerang three-fold...
and focusing solely on the negative is also a negative act, as is demonizing and vilifying a whole group of people with offensive and inaccurate propaganda (Goebbels would ne proud!).
Why do you insist on amplifying only the most negative and disgusting falsehoods of my great nation and her people? America has done a lot of good deeds internationally and at home; why not mention that once in a while? What has France done that is so fucking great?
Would you not be offended if someone splashed a picture of blacks eating fried chicken and watermelon, smoking crack and prostitutung their women, while a bunch of dirty children run loose?
What about a scene which depicts a bunch of sneering avaricious-looking Jews counting money? Are some negative stereotypes o.k., but not others?

It's what France hasn't done that is so great. France hasn't been one of these pussy countries (like mine) that jumped when Bush whistled to destroy 2 countries. France had the balls to say "non" in the face of America, which shows reason and common sense. France hasn't acted like a fucking baby the way America has because Bush didn't get his own way, by injecting anti-French bullshit in every facet of society wherever possible. Freedom Fries? For fuck sake. France retains a strong sense of cultural identity, where the US prefers jingoistic nationalism.

TIE's picture is about capitalism rotting society from the inside out, where the government promotes prosperity when the reality is decay. And what better example of global capitalism is there than the US? The country is like a big shiny apple that is full of worms inside. So think about that before you slag off at other nations that reject what such a society represents before climbing on your soapbox.

And no, it's not just America. But America leads the capitalist world so it has to expect to recieve the criticism that globalisation generates.

An oversimplified explanation as to why France did not support the Iraq adventure.. oh wait, you didn't offer an explanation.
Listen, prof, Bush and co. invaded Iraq to dominate the regions resources: whoever controls that oil, well, is in a very strong position to control the world, and France knows it and knows that there is not much they can do to stiop it. France and Europe have a lot to lose both economically and in the means of power due to Americas hegemony.
Never mind that American blood was shed to drive out the vicious Hun and American tax dollars kept the big bad Soviets from expanding further west... water under the bridge.
Also, Saddam was going to switch to the Euro as the market to trade by, and that would made Europe stronger while hurting the American economy... an invasion would have, and did, change that; this also irked france, as it thwarted their chance at becoming economically stronger.
When was the last time you have been to the states?
