I second that, but not all of them.

Alright, but a lot of them. Look at the supposedly hilarious films they make...

Seinfeld is the perfect example of silly, but hilarious.

Immaturity rules!

If you seen the way me and my buddies act sometimes you would probably be sick...We were driving on a highway and got on an exit ,needless to say the sign said"exit 69" I've never seen so much craziness in one car...It's pure stupidness on purpose of course!

Seinfeld is funny....

Movies like American Pie = total shit that Zad is referring to. There's lots of that here!

I took exit 69 onto Lee Highway all the time when I lived in Arlington. Even though I have almost superhuman powers of getting lost, I never forgot which exit to take when I came through that way.

Nothing wrong with an immature sense of humor sometimes.

Pussy towers completely over beer

Beer tastes putrid, as does any alcohol.

And i prefer Faulty Towers funny over American funny.

I prefer Pussy Towers over Faulty Towers, but it's close. But Faulty Pussy Towers, no thanks.

They made it into a film? News to me.

Hmm, but you didn't fall about laughing the first time you saw it, did you?

I was 14 and with my mom the first time I saw it, so no.

You just have a bad sense of humor.

Finding Ben Stiller unfunny is a bad sense of humour?
Ditto Owen Wilson Ditto Ditto Ditto Ditto Ditto Ditto Ditto?
Ditto Adam Sandler Ditto Ditto Ditto Ditto Ditto Ditto Ditto?
Ditto Will Ferrrill Ditto Ditto Ditto Ditto Ditto Ditto Ditto?
Ditto etc?

I think not. You poor bastards just get blasted with it 24/7. You haven't even reached the level now that Monty Python was at in their heyday.

Before we get all up ourselves, lets remember there's hardly been anything close to funny on British TV for years (a few notable exceptions aside).

League Of Gentlemen?
Spaced?
Little Britain? (pushing it, I know)
You have the TV, I don't.

But I'm not just talking TV. Our stand-ups are far superior to theirs, our films are better, radio, etc. British sense of humour in general > American one, is my point.

Leage of Gentlemen - shite
Spaced - bleh
Little Britain - I hope you're joking (it'd be funnier than anything on the show)

Stand ups are better, but film? How many good British films have you seen recently?

"British sense of humour in general > American one"

This is traditionally true, but of late the line is not so esaily defind. More American comedy now derives from the subtelties of older British humour, whereas more and more British comedy nowadays is just "man fall down...funny!"

You don't like LOG? Heathen. Papa Lazarou alone pwns.

Well, lessee...Shaun Of The Dead (a zombie film, so I've just pwned myself), and er....that new Steve Coogan one looks quite good.

Exactly. They copied us. We're going back, and being post-modernist.

(I just stopped taking this seriously. Whatever, but there's no doubting the fact an awful lot of shit gets churned out under the name of "comedy")

At the earlier point, I think Jim Carrey is funny at times, and his favourite band is Cannibal Corpse, so he does get some metal points.

Deleted scene from AV:PD where he sings Hammer Smashed face, info on CC's Wikipedia page (or Jim Carrey's) and some old interview I was reading. Don't have the links because of gAyOL, so you'll have to look yourself. www.video.google.com search Cannibal Corpse and the deleted scene is there.

Well, I really enjoy CC, so it's definantly a matter of opinion, but I betcha weren't expecting me to actually prove it, were ya?

Napalm Death's worst album is infinately better than CC's best.

No, I wasn't.
