well, that's kind of what I mean posting the HH pic... wrestling sucks because it's meant to be liked by brainless rednecks who enjoy the simplistic kind of heavy rock and the crappier country music 8)

exactly!!!

Have you seen TNA? It comes on immediately after UFC on Thursday Nights now, and they have way more wrestling on their show. They also do some awesome stuff on their show, stuff WWe would ban in a second. Plus guess who wrestles there now?

i heard great things about japanese and mexican wrestling, but there's none of that on tv here and i can't be arsed to download.

i saw some TNA and RoH videos, pretty nice imo. is it just me or are they based mainly on high-flyers and shit (which is great of course)??

WWE ought to boost the cruiserweight division. if they put Mysterio (what with all the hype around him) there they'd really make it go, and with him there cruiserweights and heavyweights wouldn't look so mis-matched, with people like Mysterio being able to fight toe to toe with the big guys.

EDIT - tna also has Rhino (he kicks ass, wwe shouldn't have let him go) and AJ Styles and Sabu. plus the Canadian Destroyer is one awesome finisher.

Pfft! Sweeping generalizations! I could come up with some of those for France too, as you well know!

But, 20 years ago that statement would be true. It's progressed far beyond that these days.

Plus, Hogan Knows Best, Brother!

Hmmm. I might have to check that out sometime. I just got bored with professional wrestling when it became all talk and no fighting. But if you say TNA is better, and has Sting, then I'll have give it a try.

I haven't seen much Japanese wrestling, I don't get it over here eitier. I do get CMLL out of Mexico here, and holy shit! Those guys are crazy! I think it would be right up your alley, plus you could probably understand what the announcers are saying. I have no clue, but I still watch.

As far as the WWe Cruiser division, That's where Rey Mysterio should be in the first place, not carrying around a Heavyweight Belt that is bigger than him. :D

TNA is a mix of both high-flyers and just straight pure wrestlers. The X-Division seems to be the main selling point though. Ultimate X matches are amazing.

ROH is mainly high-flyers, but not much else. there's really no true Heavyweights to be found, which kind of sucks.

How Petey Williams pulls off that Canadien Destroyer without breaking somebodies neck is amazing in itself.

I like TNA. I'm new to it, but any fed where X-pac randomly comes back, and jobs Raven out of the company is worth watching. :-D

Has anyone seen RoH? Everyone I know shits bricks over it, but not me, sir. Never seen it that is. Is it good?

BACK to MMA, anyone see Gomi get choked by Marcus Aurelio? That must've been a suprise live, I know I was numbed when I read it.

TNA is awesome-tastic. It's my new favorite promotion. I like how they actually, you know, wrestle instead of talk for 2 hours. Wrestling on a wrestling show, what a concept! Plus Christian is the champ. Captain Charisma!

ROH-I've got a few DVDs in my collection. It's okay, but I don't see what everyone creams their panties over it for. I guess if seeing a bunch of vanilla midgets who have no concept of ring psychology is your thing, it's good. But they aren't on national TV for a reason. Mainly it's a good cure for insomnia.

MMA-no, I didn't get to see that fight, but everyone says it's a damn good one.

Gotta love the X-Division.That division makes the cruiserweights look like wimps :D

I'm no fan of wrestling. I think it's rather laughable. My brother loves it, he has like 9 million VHS tapes of it.

I like the real stuff, UFC, MMA, boxing, etc.

Video: holy shit!

FrigidSymphony: no shit, sherlock? i dunno, i like watching the moves and shit.

and some of that shit has to be real or at least hard to do correctly. for example, moves like the Piledriver, if botched, can cause serious injury. plus you can't deny the ability of some of them, be it the high-flying Mysterio or athletes like brock lesnar and kurt angle (olympic gold medalist).

Idol: that's why i said that they should move Mysterio to the cruisers... with all the hype around him, and the way he's portrayed as being able to fight toe to toe with guys like Kurt Angle, the division would get a real boost.

also, eddie guerrero.. am i the only one disgusted by the way the WWE took advantage of his death? first mysterio thanks EG for getting nº2 at the royal rumble, then thanks the guy for his help to win it. i mean, suspension of disbelief and all, but that's just ridiculous. then they get Orton to start saying shit on him to get some cheap heel heat going. despicable.
