This was cummulative. And in the past, when Mike has stepped in everyone has backed off, or toned it down, which is exactly what should happen. I'm not aware of any other time someone has lashed out at Mike after he stepped in and didn't get banned.

Case in point: Music is discussed about 10% of the time here. Just because the topic is music related doesn't mean people are actually discussing music. Also, when music is "discussed," people simply talk trash most of the time. A Metallica thread will get tons of replies; the same goes for In Flames, Kittie, Korn, etc. Why? Because people just talk shit. Positive music discussions get a few replies, if any at all.

Alternatively, a thread titled "Killer Power Metal Band" will get a few replies, while a thread titled "OMG LOLZ I AM TEH LAWLRUS!" will get a hundred replies.

This forum is like a bad chatroom most of the time.
