It's very juvenile, given my target audience. But I've tried to include as many of my quirky touches as possible.

Oh. I'm terrible uncreative.
I can pump out a formal essay in a short period of time and it be ace, but a story where I have to make things up is not my cup of tea.

I once read a Haiku about fellatio. Very strange.
Oh and by the way I'm free from May 23rd to about June 2nd. If that's not do-able any time after June 9th will be fine.

RULES

There are no themes or word limits to the poetry/lyrics section (although obviously a bit of common sense is necessary. No mind-meltingly long epics, please). Rhyming isn't necessary, but let's limit it to English, so all can appreciate your fabulous works of art. And no haikus, please.

The same tournament style as last year will apply here, so try and stick to the time limits given. Extentions might be given, if the other party agrees and generous moods abound, but it would be most helpful if you could declare any clashes in advance.

I assume everyone's read the rules, and agrees to abide by them (such as they are...). People who've expressed interest so far, it'd be helpful if you could repeat yourselves so I know you want to do the Poetry, and not the short story (you can do both, but make time for yourself, being in one won't be a good excuse for getting an extension in the other).

And get writing! The latest the first showdown will be taking place is May 25th.

    Midnight 2nd June to midnight 3rd June - Tlaloc vs Slayer Of Kings
    Midnight 3rd June to midnight 4th June - voting


    Midnight 6th June to midnight 7th June - Noodles vs Kathaarian
    Midnight 7th June to midnight 8th June - voting


Post poems in a new thread, titled with Whoever vs Whoever, in the time given, then when that time is up, the voting starts. You get 24 hours for both. If I haven't started a thread for it, make it yourselves. I may not be available to supervise every single second, common sense rules supreme!

Gaps are for last-minute, 'oh no! my dog just died and I need mourning time!'-styled pathetic excuses, although if you need more time please say so a few days (at the very least) before. They also build tension, and make things more exciting...

I know there'll only be five people in round 2, if no-one else signs up for this we'll do a special vote and the best losing poem goes forwards, or something.

The end date for signing up is this friday 18th May, so if you want to be in and haven't said yet, get a move on!
