It's funny how everyone was annoyed by his hatred, yet those same people are now fighting that hatred with hatred of their own. He wasn't hurting anybody, he was just saying stupid stuff, and as forums are a haven for stupid comments I don't think anyone should be pissing on anyone else's grave.

I don't see how anyone can still say global warming isn't happening. The jury's still out on whether we're causing it or not, but that's another debate. To be honest, Jesus could come back waring a T-shirt that said GLOBAL WARMING IS REAL and Falwell still wouldn't have believed it.

Cale didn't have so much of the trademark venom I'd expect from him on this one. Maybe he pulled a few punches 'cause the dude had a family and all that.

Cale's getting tired. Doubt there'll be anything else with the power of 'Fuck The Troops', but he's still one of the more entertaining net-reviewers around.

Sure global warming is happening. So is global cooling. It's a cycle that's been going on for thousands of years. Right now there are areas of the world that have MORE ice, MORE snow, MORE glaciers, and abnormally LOW temperatures. Those aren't sexy news, though, so you never hear about it. The global warming fad right now is just the vogue politically correct thing to do. (And it's big business for a lot of people!) It's far from true that legitimate scientists are in agreement on it all. That's just intellectually lazy to think that.

The fact that a higher level of global warming occurred BEFORE people started making all those evil cars and factories certainly doesn't bode well for the hardcore global warming Kool-Aid drinkers though...

Most of you probably aren't old enough to remember a few decades ago when the same type of people (leftist propagandists) that are frothing at the mouth and crying about the terror of global warming were frothing at the mouth and crying about the terror of global cooling. It's even funny how they are saying almost the exact same things, just replacing "warming" for "cooling."

But hey, people who have no real worth need a cause to get behind so they don't feel bad, right? Heaven forbid they should actually do something constructive instead.
