I just had to put up with a dvd of the Woodford Folk Festival. I wanted Manowar to come on stage, kill the fucking hippie shithead with the home-made rubber band instrument (or whatever the fuck it was), play Kill With Power as I storm the crowd in Space Marine power armour and mow the fucking lot of them down with a minigun.

someone convinced me to see Shortbus with her, i didn't even watch for longer than 20 minutes. It's completely shite, and the 'sexual message' they want to give everyone is nowhere to be found. God, what a waste of time :lame:

I saw the Devil Wears Prada with the family. Surprisingly, I actually enjoyed it; pretty witty, and Meryl Streep gives a good performance.

I watched the first half hour or so of the Squid and the Whale with Kelsey but it just depressed us so we turned it off.

I saw An Inconvenient Truth...pretty scary . I'm now convinced that anyone who doesn't think global warming is real is an idiot.

I thought that was a good film. More funny than depressive - Laura Linney's a great actress.

What's this like? I've never heard of it. How old is it. Sounds like something I'd really dig.

Excellent movie. There's not enough viking movies out there. Hopefully Pathfinder will kick ass.

Anyway, some friends and I saw Rocky Balboa tonight, and we all thought it was excellent. It's essentially a drama, and it's really good.

My uncle's in that.

RW: The Client. Probably the best Grisham adap I've seen (which isn't saying much!), although the recent Runaway Jury was good. Rachel Weisz =

Not that old, 2001. Gerard Butler basically kicks the shit out of everyone for 2 and a half hours, until he's killed by a hot roman redhead who poisons him.

Agreed.

Have you seen "Kinsey" with her and Liam Neeson?

...from the guy with the pro-drug quote in his signature.

Damnit, I haven't, and I was waiting for that. Good?

She was pretty excellent in The Life Of David Gale as well. You have to be good to outshine both Kate Winslet and Kevin Spacey!

It's different. She does a great job, but the movie itself is very... erotic? No, it's good. Check it out.
