Fingon, if you've played Rome: Total War or Medieval II, don't buy Medieval. Just such a huge let-down coming from the later installments.

Really? I guess i'll postpone M:TW for now then. Oh well, i'm tempted by a RTS collection including: Warhammer 40K+Winter Assault, Supreme Commander, and Company of heroes for 15€!

If you don't have any of those titles yet, that's a steal. And forget about Dawn of War: Soulstorm. While Dark Crusade is passable, Soulstorm is overpriced and ridiculously bad in terms of balance and playability.

Yup, a friend of mine already warned me about Soulstorm. He was pissed off because he spent 25€ on a really crappy game. I think he traded it for Quake Wars

lIf you like Dark Crusade, there's no reason not to like Soulstorm, it's the same except for the extra races.

Just finished Chrono Trigger. It didn't have as good of a story as I had hoped, the battle system felt half-finished, and the interface was only decent.

I still loved the game, it was an unusual experience, which basically is enough for me to love a game. It had the perfect soundtrack, wonderful art direction, and great characters. Oh, and a lot of minor details that, in the end, made the game so much better.

Now moving onto Terranigma, which so far looks like it'll beat FFVI and Earthbound.

I wish I had a controller pad, playing these classic SNES games with a keyboard is fucked, and it's killing my wrists.

What ending did you get with CC? And Terranigma is possibly one of the best games that was ever made, and as much as I doubt it, I'd love to see it on the Virtual Console so that people get a chance to take note of it.

I think I got the main ending, I did all the side-quests and went through Black Omen to kill Lavos. Unfortunately Frog didn't turn back into his old self in the end, but I'm going to replay it after I've finished a few other games to get that ending.

It's more expensive, the two new races don't bring anything new and are unbalanced, the campaign map is poorly thought out and the loading takes aaaages.

Best wait for a discounted re-release.

Does anyone know or the Mark of Chaos game is any worth buying? I know it's new and it's a principle of mine not to spend 40-50€ on videogames but i can buy it from a friend who is just not into it.

Which one? The original or Battle March? I've only played the original, think I picked it up for 10-15€, and it was reasonably enjoyable even though I encountered lots of bugs. I wouldn't have given more on it, tbh.

G-Phoria (video game awards) gave game of the year to Halo 3. SHIT

Played Call of Duty 4, Gears of War, and Halo 3 with the guitar player from Havok. That was pretty cool.

Did you actually manage to beat Raining Blood on anything above medium? Fucking sick. Hard + expert modes are harder than real guitar. Took me forever to beat Slow Ride on hard ffs.

I still haven't beat hard mode on GH3, but I did get through Raining Blood somehow due to sheer random button pressing luck (and also by using star power at the hardest moments). If you can play it on expert, then you are a freak of nature.

*Sheepishly puts his hand up*

Though to be honest, I barely play anymore.

Been playing COD4 a lot, with some MGS3 from time to time.

In COD4 I like:

RPD w/ grip (favorite)
M4 w/ red dot sight
MP5 w/ silencer

and sometimes the M16 or AK47. How about you guys?

I mostly used the AK47 when I started playing, but right before I sold my console I went crazy for the silenced MP5, I just couldn't believe how good of a weapon it was. Man, I miss CoD4.

If you get past the "reaaaaally fast" part right before Araya starts screaming, its not that difficult. Now my fingers are used to the color of the notes. Not used enough (or fast enough) for Dragonforce expert. Hard is no problem.

Currently finishing weapon challenges:

Silenced mp5 (have my golden uzi, mp5 is best) + uav jammer + steady aim + bandolier
golden m60 with red dot + sleight of hand + deep impact + 3x frag
barrett .50cal (couple more headshots) + uav jammer + iron lungs + bandolier
w1200 (49 more headshots) + sleight of hand + extreme conditioning + bandolier
g36c (couple more headshots) + stopping power + deep impact + claymore

Lot more work needed in the assault rifles category as far as headshots go, with sniper rifles the m40 will be a pain.
