Been playing COD4 a lot, with some MGS3 from time to time.

In COD4 I like:

RPD w/ grip (favorite)
M4 w/ red dot sight
MP5 w/ silencer

and sometimes the M16 or AK47. How about you guys?

Currently finishing weapon challenges:

Silenced mp5 (have my golden uzi, mp5 is best) + uav jammer + steady aim + bandolier
golden m60 with red dot + sleight of hand + deep impact + 3x frag
barrett .50cal (couple more headshots) + uav jammer + iron lungs + bandolier
w1200 (49 more headshots) + sleight of hand + extreme conditioning + bandolier
g36c (couple more headshots) + stopping power + deep impact + claymore

Lot more work needed in the assault rifles category as far as headshots go, with sniper rifles the m40 will be a pain.

I don't worry too much about the challenges, I'm pretty much a n00b as it is. I am getting better, though--went 20 and 6 the other day :dio:

Silent Hill 4: The Room

Just picked it up again after not playing it for about a year. I remember getting pissed off that I couldn't figure out that damn Water Prison room spinning puzzle. Now I got back into tonight and beat the puzzle within minutes.. Guess I was tired back then. This game gets alot of flak from fans of horror games and even fans of Silent Hill and while so far I think it may be the worst of them all, it's still a damn good game. I'd say I'm about 60% done the game right now assuming it's around 9-10 hours like most games like this seem to be. And from what I've seen it seems like a solid 8/10.. Of course I suppose it could go all downhill from here, who knows? I once questioned Devil May Cry 2's shittiness halfway through and pretty much right after that it managed to become one of the worst action games I've ever played and easily the worst sequel to an awesome debut.

I never really played Hardcore, I tried it like twice and it was really slow and boring. Everyone's basically just lying in the grass waiting for kills.

Once you know the maps well you can anticipate where they'll be hiding. Heavy cover maps which still feature lots of snipers, such as Bloc or Crossfire, are also hilarious. Can't count the times I've entered an apartment bloc on Bloc and knifed five campers in a row.

Haha. You're ridiculously good, in that case. I feel good when I get more kills than deaths.

On the other hand, I have a life :P

jesus christ, 58 and 3? I don't think I have ever seen anybody with more than 35 kills in one match. To get 58 is insane. But, I play on the 360 you play on the pc right?

Yup, PC. My highest score in recent memory was 99-20 actually. Of course, it depends on the map and the size of the server. Usually though my K/D ratio pans out to something like 2:1.

Cool. I need to get a few Megaman games now that I've got a gamepad.

Do you know what game he had a robot dog in? I remember that one being my favourite. Also, does anyone know if there's a NES or SNES game where you can play as Zero?

Anybody play Bionic Commando: Rearmed? I downloaded the demo on XBLA and it's sweet.

I also purchased Rez HD through XBLA, which is also excellent. Definitely one of the most original games I've played on XBLA.

That's be the Megaman Zero games. I know they were on the GBA, and possibly the PSX and SNES (Megaman X games had him playable too if I recall correctly).

I remember playing Megaman X-2 for the Playstation, which had Zero as a playable character, but I tried it on the SNES and it was a completely different game, weird.

I'll see if I can find Megaman Zero for GBA, since I'm playing Final Fantasy IV on it right now.

The first one to have the dog (Rush) is Megaman 3 (NES), Zero is a character of the X series he appears in every game but i think it became a playable character in X3 (Snes) X4, X5 and X6 on the PS all had zero so mayabe thats the ones you played.

The Megaman Zero series are for the GBA, i havent played them yet but i hear theyre really good.

Thanks.

As much as I love the Megaman games, nothing beats playing as Zero. It might be my obsession with Castlevania that makes me prefer melee combat in 2D games. It somehow makes boss fights much more fun.

I bought BC: Rearmed and its much better than the original game and yeah it's pretty sweet. Otherwise i'm also going to play Fable: The Lost Chapters on PC since i missed it the first time around and as a warm-up to Fable 2. One of the achivements in Fable 2 is to start an orgy!!! That certainly caught my attention as well as other funny/clever achivements. Is anybody a fan of the first Fable?

Wet Work I think. the last couple of minutes was just spawnkill after spawnkill for me, couldn't get past 100 to save my life.

Wet Work is a weird level for me. I can play it once and go 25 and 3, then play again and go 10 and 10. I still am in awe that you had 99 kills in one game. That is amazing. Do you see people get kill counts above 50 a lot when playing on the computer? Or is it that you are just too good?

I love Fable. The best thing about it is how the story is presented, it feels like a, well, a fable. Also, the music is some of the best I've ever heard, especially the main theme, damn it's good.

The game world isn't as open as you think it is, but you get the feeling that you can do anything. You can get married and have sex, you can buy a whorehouse and have have sex with whores, and you can go gay if you want to do that, lol. I wonder why that is the first thing people always mention about Fable. haha.
