Ah DAMMIT. Long story short, there's only 1 ethernet cable that can reach my room and it's being used for something else at the moment, so I can't connect to live until sometime late tomorrow :(

What is it like?! Is it awesome? Seriously, it has to be, don't break my heart man :(

I've played through it twice now, and let me tell you no hearts will be broken. It is freakin' awesome. I think in just a few minutes i will go and play through it again. Then hell maybe 1 more time after that. Do yourself a favour and get you 360 jooked up so you can play this bad boy. September 16th can't come soon enough.

Fail fail fail FAIL MICROFUCK  "This is only available for xbox live gold members, check back in a few days or upgrade to gold"..... Bastards, my gold membership ran out 3 days ago and I don't have the money to upgrade again for a while :(

Oh man does that really suck. I just played through it again ont he hardest difficulty, it is quite a challenge. I can't wait to play this game in full and see if there are any RPG elements to it. Because that would be the cats ass.

It's available for PS3 as well (still talking about the demo)

Bionic Commando: Nice

Fallout 2: Even nicer.. of course

Lost Oddessey: Nice at first, then cry babies are introduced... also, you can't walk for more than 5 min in town before cutscenes and locked away memories start wasting 20 min of you time. Also, the characters seem rather one dimensional, the main character only think about one thing, and all his memories only point to one thing - it sucks to be immortal... immortal this, immortal that.. bla bla bla... but i really like Jansen, and the way he talks... rather entertaining. Also, like so many other rpg games, you feel like you are just running in the world to waste time, there's no clear goals or what so ever... And i'm fucking tired of wasting time on kids who have run away on their own, just so that the player can waste time saving them... it has been countless of times in other mediocre rpg's. typical japanese rpg games. Always childish, always preaching stupid shit. Final Fantasy and dragon quest are the only japanse rpg worth playing, despite the declining quality of the final fantasy games.
Can't wait till Fallout 3 and Fable 2 arrives - now, that's what I'm talking about!!!! No cute little manga babies crying or running around in stupid clothings, no preaching - just pure story, fun, and killing.. yiiihaar!

Can't wait to get my hands on NHL 09 which looks really promising!

NHL 09 will be one of the best hockey games in a long time. And it will be the first EA game to pry me away from the 2K series in over 3 years. 2K9 looks like shit this year. Plus the problems I had with 2K8 scared me away.

NHL 08 was awesome last year and got best sports game award by IGN and others critics sites. This year 09 seems to be even better. I also learn today that they will have a Montreal Canadien classic team in the game to celebrate The habs century anniversary. The team will be composed of Rocket Richard and guy Lafleur amongst others and will be no match for all teams except the allstar ones. Sounds like a really cool feature for fans like me!

Aaaaaaaaah thats bloody awesome! Why won't they release NHL 09 for Wii? Bastards...

Sorry to break up the french-men jerk off, but Brahm Wii gets NHL 2K9 this year. Even though it looks like shit, it is a start.

I am grateful for that and I'm hoping its good, but still... The NHL series has always been better than the 2K series, and this one has the all star habs team, which is orgasmtastic for me.

Not to start a hockey who is better war, but here gos: NHL 2K was better than NHL 2004. NHL 2K5 was better than NHL 05. NHL 2K6 was better than NHL 06. NHL 2K7 was better than NHL 07, EA thinks they are so original with the joystick to move the stick, hmm 2K had already had that since the first 2K hockey game. I liked NHL 2K8 better than the OMH the graphics are so pretty NHL 08. The only time where EA will truely win in my books is this upcoming year. Where 09 looks vastly superior.

Yeah the 2K serires was better at some points than EA's NHL in the past years but not 2008.

NHL 2008 > NHL 2K8

even critics agree : http://www.metacritic.com

And it's poorly optimized and full of bugs.

That's why I said IMO about 08 vs. 2K8. I liked 08, I just like 2K8 better. And I don't really care about what the critics have to say.

Mercenaries 2 comes out tomorrow (i think), but I don't think I will be able to get it until Tuesday. I pre-oreder it.

I got Mario Sluggers for my Wii. It's pretty much what you would expect a Mario sports game to be. Pretty fun, but definitely needs online.

I haven't had the chance to play it for more than a few hours and I haven't encountered any bugs yet. I think I read though that most of them were fixed by the following 3 patches which I have installed already. It feels quite hard though... I'm not playing very carefully or seriously but I think I'm dying way too often...

Mercs 2 for the 360.

pretty fun, even better when online with somebody. Very easy achievments.

Anybody played Castle Crashers on X-Box Live arcade? That game is awesome.

Plus I pre-ordered Fable 2 and got Fable 2 Pub Games. I probably wont be playing it very much, as I want to earn my gold in the actual game. FABLE 2 CO-OP!!!!!!

Downloaded NHL 09 demo, will play in a little while.

I'm buying that game real soon, the demo was cool. We'll have to play through it on XBL together, have you done that yet?

I bought Bionic Commando: Rearmed last night. Awesome game, one of the best yet on XBLA.

BTW, is anybody else looking forward to Mega Man 9, the Banjo-Kazooie remake, Duke Nukem 3D, and Street Fighter II HD?

I've been on a Final Fantasy binge lol. We've had all the games for the longest time, but I never really got around to playing them until now.

I've been playing FF VI for the GBA and I got V not too long ago. I'll probably get IV, now that it came out for the DS.

Come a long way in Crysis now. What a simply superb game. It completely surprised me. I expected a nicer looking (as in drop-down gorgeous) Far Cry. But oh no, Crysis is soooo much more. Not going to spoil anything though, but there are some interesting moments further in.

Hope to finish it before Crysis: Warhead lands this week.
