Well, the only way to sweep away the capitalist mindset is through revolutionary bloodshed!

And as I said to Charles yesterday, what does it have to do with politics if a buncha radioactive mutants steal your baby? There's only one option...

It was more the transformation from snivelling hand-wringing liberal to axe-wielding all-american hero (via truimphant superhero music) that did it for me.

But he wasn't really a sniveller. The fact that you equate liberal with wimp shows that you're working for the terrorists. Jack Bauer's coming round your house now.

zomg hav u ben watchin teh n00 24?

I'm enjoying it but things took a bit of a turn for the soap opera in episode 5.

No, not yet. Heh, the love triangle thing was strange. Everyone knows Jack loves only Palmer, and at a pinch, Tony.

Tried one the first time you mentioned it, seemed a bit slow for me. I'll wait.

And have you heard anything about '24 TEH MOVEY'? That's actually what they're calling it, you know.

Is it Series 5 or 6 being shown on TV at the moment? The one on SKY one on sunday was the one with the nuke going off in LA. I hate watching ahead of schedule as I think it detracts a bit of the suspense. This series has started out better than the last one, though.

Isn't that series 2? Or has 6 just been spoiled for me?

erm... no, series 6 is the one with the poisonous moon biscuits... and the factory making them blew up in episode 4 (which was shown last sunday). Anyway Jack dies at the end of series 5

They're showing season 6 now, you big spoiler factory.

Shouldn't come as too much of a shock to you, Zad - its an even-numbered season, so the bad guys are A-rabs with nuclear capabilites.

Hah. I've been watching series 6 of 24 and I'd say the show is in jump the shark terroritory. It's been melodramatic, boring, and contrived.

Rome is simply a much better written and acted show.

Everyone has a plotline. If you're a dog, you get a plotline. If you're a boat, you definitely get a plotline. If you're a body part, like an arm, you get a plotline.
