Rented Super Mario Galaxy and Mario Kart Wii to see what this bad-boy can do. Mario Galaxy = one of the best platformers ever made. Certainly better than Mario Sunshine (which is a great game, but TOO FRIGGIN' HARD SOMETIMES!!!).

Just the title King's Bounty brings me waves of nostalgia... One of the first games I bought for PC.

NHL 09. First time ever I've paid more than 10 dollars (maybe even 5) for a sports game. Well worth it so far too. Be A Pro mode is amazing.

Glad you like it! i'm addicted to that mode as well. I started a career as a dangler and i'm more than halfway through the season.
When I get time i'll give it a shot with online playing.

Only once a year do I treat myself to a full-priced game. Last year it was Call of Duty 4, this year it will be Fallout 3.

Back to the computer games I go.

Got Age of Empires III and both the War Chiefs and Asian Dynasties expansion packs. I love this game. WIll be picking up Civilization 4 some time soon, it's only $26.

I also found out that Saints Row 2 doesn't have splitscreen co-op (the selling point of this game, for me anyway because I thought it had it) so now I am not getting it. Oh well, I save myself 70 dollars.

The first Saint's Row was ok, a fun little GTA knock-off...It was kinda fun, but it was a little to gangsta for me, when i prefer mafia instead. Anyway, i was looking at the soundtrack for SR2 and what do i see!?!?

Opeth - Ghost Of Perdition o_O

Somebody working on this game has a good taste in music, that's for sure haha. But seriously, Opeth has gotten pretty big now, to the point that they are featured in videogames. More power to them i say, this should hopefully get them some new fans and expose these kids to some good music. :dio:

I also have AoE 3 and the expansions, though would you agree that after a while they get boring, and that they aren't as fun as Age of Mythology or indeed AoE2?

Started Command and Conquer: Tiberian Sun. It's fucking great, though since in the previous months I beat C&C1, Red Alert 1 together with their expansions, anything more modern automatically seems like the second coming.

AoE2 is a classic, and one of my all time favourites. AoM I only ever played a downloaded demo, but it was quite good. AoE3 has yet to get boring for me seeing as how I just got it. But I understand what you are saying.

Of course, its while for a few weeks, but levelling up your home cities to maximum becomes annoying, not to mention the fact that you can't use your 1 player skirmish home cities in online play.

Fucking Micro$oft!!!!!

I sold my launch 360 on ebay and then bought a used Elite. I figured RROD has a 3-yr warranty, so I should be fine since they didn't start making Elites until last year. Well, I've had it for two months now and the RROD reared its ugly head the other day. I called M$ support and guess the fuck what? Since I'm not the original registered owner, the 3 yr warranty doesn't apply to me! Bullshit!! They want me to pay $100 to have it fixed, which I can't afford right now. Of course all this would happen the week before Fable II comes out, which I've had pre-purchased for months now.

I'm going to open it up and try to the "x-clamp fix" myself, as there are endless tutorials for this on youtube. Of course, this voids the warranty, but since I don't have one anyway, fuck it.
