I've cursed you all many times since the beginning of the draft. Lots of fun!

You're up, Thomas.

I guess we're even now.

You're up, Dev.

I curse Xasthur for picking Malkin, I really wanted him and sort of gambled when I took St Louis, hoping Malkin would come back around for me.

So I've started to enter our players, can save as you go, and I notice that we can have keepers. Do you guys want to do keepers? If yes, how many per team? I'd say since it's such a small league, maybe only 2-3 keepers each. It's up to you guys.

Keepers, for those who don't know, are players you get to keep year after year. By agreeing to do a keeper league, we would have to get people to commit to do this at least another year to make it worth while. We could also trade draft picks.. could get very interesting.

I'd probably prefer to start all over next year. I doubt we get everyone to come back for another year and maybe some new faces will want to join and start fresh.

That is fine with me. We can start setting next years pool up earlier too. Maybe try for 10 teams, change the stats up a little, etc, etc.. Need your guys feedback to try and make it better!

Yeah I'm not that big on keepers.

But I noticed the roster sizes still haven't been adjusted. I think you need to do that before entering anybody.

Seconded. As for feedback Dev, here are my thoughts (for what they're worth):

- You should start the recruitment period earlier, say, August 1st if you can. I'm not saying you should do this all on your own of course.

- Then, September 1st, see if a Live draft is an option for all participants (as you did this year). If no agreement is reached on a date and a time, then...

- September 8th, an offline draft begins during 3 weeks (about one round per day).

- Then the season begins.

The only problem I see is injuries. Starting a draft one month before the opening is a bit risky/overkill. But hey, it's part of the manager's job, and of the game.
As for the optimum number of teams, I obviously lack of experience so I don't know, I'll tell you later. Same with stats.

edit: and what Metastable said about the roster size.

As far as number of teams goes, 8 is the bare minimum. 12 or 14 teams is the ideal amount but if we continue with offline drafts then 10 is probably best.

I like 10 teams, then there is still some quality players on free agent/waiver wire.

As for number of players, yes I forgot to do that and have already enterd players to certain teams. I will look right now to see if I can still change it. Sorry guys, been busy here.

Hey Thomas, just a heads up. Drew Doughty is an unsigned RFA.

I don't think we need 6 D slots. I think you can take away two and make then Bench. Also, one or two more IR spots would be good. Just my opinion.

so 4 D, and 2 more benched? and an extra IR. I will only do 1 more IR, not 2. As Brucey said, injuries are a part of the game.

I like the 6 D though, gives you 3 complete lines.
