COD:WaW online fucking rules, much smoother than COD 4, and there is amazing graphical details in the levels. The only problem that might eventually be is that once people get used to the maps, there's going to be a lot of camping.

Other games I want to get this year are Star Wars: The Force Unleashed and Fable 2. I'd like to get Red Alert 3, but my computer is shit.

Is there a Hardcore mode in CoD: WaW? You know, the one which removes your HUD and makes all weapons a lot more deadly.

OFC, just like in 4, except now there's Hardcore Free for All as well.

Fallout 3: [7/10]
+great atmosphere
+great combat and character developing balance
+shorter than oblivion, meaning you can play through the game again with another type of player
+ many details in the world
- crappy animation
- crappy mainstory
- lousy AI, and lousy NPC interaction
- dissappointing ending

Fable 2: [7/10]
+ lovely graphics, great design design
+ nice dog
+ the dynamics
- I liked the old magic system better
- Quickly feels a little boring
- mainstory isn't all that exciting

Pes2009: [7/10]
+ playable
- worst passes ever, they constantly fuck up
- re-introducing paralyzed players right after free-kicks, where the ball bounces of the wall and back to the kicker, who in return is one big question mark.
- it annoys me that the PES team eliminates certains flaws only to include new
- your players stumble constanstly, even the opposite team members only touch your player slighty, meaning you'll loose the ball over nothing very often.. weaklings.
- sometimes players run around in circle on rails and places themselves in positions where they are bound to loose the ball. It seems as if the game decides "Oh, this player is not good enough to get the ball, so I'll make him fuck up his game"

Saints Row 2: [7/10]
+ funny
+ lots of costumizing
- crappy graphic and crappy world design.. in general, your own caracter is okay

the only real flaw i see is in the passing. every PES since i remember has it. when you use the through ball (triangle), the receiving player never cuts into the ball's trajectory to get it earlier, so you end up losing many balls that way.

also Victor Valdez is just too fucking good in that game , the guy is better than Casillas and Van der Sar! unrealistic, i say!

As a 10th Anniversary deal, Valve is now selling the original Half-Life on Steam for only $0.99. So.............................

I also found Quake 1 on Steam, so I downloaded it along with one of those mods that gives the game a substantial graphical boost. God, I love old-school FPS's.

Also, is anybody else here downloading Super Street Fighter II HD Remix on XBLA when it comes out tomorrow?

yeah, that's so fucking annoying... i hate that, he he... at least we can agree to that..
But this time around, if you have the ball and two players run along, then the game fucks up when you want to pass it to the nearest player, often my player pass the ball to the player far away with a shitty pass that makes no sense. In the earlier PES games you had to press the pass button for a little longer before this happened. This is especielly annoying when you're right in front of the opponents goal... low passes always stink in front of goal..

uh, and another thing... the goal keepers are way too limited by the primitiv animation system, at time they can't save shit, and defenders are too eager to clear the ball over the sideline, even when there's no danger, rather stupid. And for some reasons your players sometimes tackle or clear the ball on their own, even when you have selected the player, very frustrating when your player alluva sudden tackles the other player from behind, or throw the ball aways when you really wanted to pass it to the nearest player to start a counter attack.

F.E.A.R - Don't like the feel of the guns, but it's made me jump at least three times now.

Wow. Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix is awesome. Easily the best Street Fighter 2 game ever. You guys have got to download it.

On the topic of fighting games, I hope Namco releases a patch for the XBLA version of Soulcalibur that gives us the Mission Mode. Now that Microsoft removed the size cap on XBLA games, there's no reason for them not to. Also, Sega needs to release some classic Saturn and Dreamcast games on it.

I'm within an arm's length of beating Final Fantasy II.

Next, I'll move on to Final Fantasy IV.

I have to be honest and admit that I really wish some Dreamcast games would eventually be released on XBLA. Crazy Taxi, Ready To Rumble Boxing, Hydro Thunder. Those would be perfect for XBLA. And I don't want to buy a Dreamcast system right now, so my only hope is to play inferior PS2 ports of Crazy Taxi and R2R.

So last night I managed to finish both horde and the campaign of Gears of War 2 with a friend. It was awesome, especially the Brumak bit :D

Was bloody funny with horde, we got down to one enemy, that was a Theron guard. We decided to be all cool to finish off, so we both grabbed a mulcher and headed out. The bastard hit my friend from across the map and blew him into chunks. I was firing like mad at it and just before it got cut to shreds it managed to get a shot in and killed me. Even though I died after it we still had to do it all again

Cheers. I remember Quake II on PS1. Sublime. I remember split screen multiplayer and everyone trying to find the BFG first.

You mean you finished all 50 levels with just your friend? Impressive. I played horde the other day, and everyone quit after round 1 except me and one other guy. We got to level 22 and I felt pretty good about that. Guess I shouldn't!
