£5.56 from Amazon, I'm trusting yoo guise...

And whoever said Crysis wasn't good clearly hasn't played it.

Played it. Beat it. Not good.

Actually it's not shit, but it's definitely overrated. people are too distracted by the graphics to note the samey gameplay (shoot, stealth, move a bit, shoot, stealth, repeat) and the fact that all the other suit functions are useless. And that's without mentioning how bad the game gets when the aliens are introduced, then it becomes a generic shooter as you can't use stealth against them.

Useless?! The Armour is VITAL, whilst speed makes retreating from intense gunfights much easier. As for Strength, well, you clearly haven't felt the joy of jumping onto a roof and sniping a truck gunner before jumping across and strength-punching his head in. I actually barely used the stealth, since it hardly lasts for long at all.

Admittedly, the alien section is less good, and the 'freezing up' thing is annoying. Still, the zero gravity section was awesome.

Considering getting a few more PC games... Bioshock, Assassin's Creed and Mass Effect, but I'm a bit lairy of the DRM thang. Is it just like enabling Office 07, or will I have to be online for hours? And does SecuRom really rape your machine, or is it all nonsense?

Apparently it installs rootkits and stuff, and won't let the game run if you have certain programs installed. Plus, you have to format the hard drive to get rid of it.

So I've started Call Of Duty, but am stuck on the 2nd or 3rd level when you're supposed to be regrouping 'in a safe area' but the captain involved is cowering behind a wall like a little bitch, even though there are no Germans nearby for ages. What the hell do I do?

I've seen a lot of people hating on the realism, calling it "boring", but I love it. The animations where you're pulling bullets out of your hands with pliers and shit like that are ace.

Nice! Did you get a 360, or were you playing on someone else's?

Forgot to mention it cause it's been a while, but basically alternating between stealth and armor is what is mostly required, especially when you play with higher difficulties where you won't get the chance to stay fucking around with speed and strength.

On another note, last week I got MK vs DCU, which save for the story mode was utter krap, luckily I managed to change it for the awesome Fallout 3, which is probably my game of the year after Metal Gear 4.

Which mission? The one where you're defending the little village? You'll have to be a bit more specific.

Yes, just after you've taken it over. I must be missing some thing to trigger the next part...

Rune Factory and Contact on the DS. Was quite impressed by the second one. All hail Grasshopper Manufacture!
