Skinner is awesome, but he's gonna get himself hurt the way he's playing right now. Really gritty for his size, shows he's no pushover. But yeah, just waiting for some douche like Matt Cooke or Adam McQuaid to send him head first into the boards.

Man, do the Senators suck this season. I saw the game against Colorado and they looked like the junior team they (almost) are. Allowing 21 goals in 4 games is just ridiculous. And tonight they take on the Capitals...

You had a crazy week. Blueliners with insane amounts of assists, your pre-teen Landeskog shooting on goal like there was no tomorrow, and your pre-pre-teen Nugent-Hopkins scoring like a madman... Don't expect them to be that strong every single week dude.

Dev, just a thought for next year. How about this for the roster size/composition:

- if 8 teams: 2C, 2LW, 2RW, 4D, 2G, 1Util, 10BN, 2IR (23 active players/roster + 2IR)

- if 10 teams: 2C, 2LW, 2RW, 4D, 2G, 1U, 6BN, 2IR (19 active players/roster + 2IR)

- if 12 teams: 1C, 1LW, 1RW, 2D, 1G, 1U, 9BN, 2IR (16 active players/roster + 2IR)

That way you really often would have decisions to make, especially big days like Saturdays (who's to play and who's to sit tonight). Right now you seldom have choices to make. Just my 2 cents.

I know I had a good week, and no I don't expect it to happen every week. I do, however, expect to win.

That's a lot of benched players to have going into every night. This is only my 3rd year doing hockey pools, but in my experience, the set-up we have now works best. Unless somebody with a little more experience has something to say, I'd like to keep it the way it is and make only minor tweaks to it. If everybody agrees to make such a big change, then I guess it can be implemented somehow. But me personally, I like it the way it is.

I know what you mean. In my other pool, I barely got away with a 5-5 tie. If it wasn't for my goaltending I would of been spanked. The westerners needs to pick it up! So does Ovechkin too.

Yeah right. And I expect to be a heavyweight world champion someday. Dev. Come on.

And for the roster thing, yes, it may be overkill and annoying in the long run, I'll grant you.

Kids>Old Dudes.

Our first week proved that.

Gonna be a long season.

Leafs are 3-0, actually. As far as Kessel is concerned, yeah he's played well so far but I hope he can keep it up when December/January comes.

Yeah shit 3-0 , I guess I gave them credit for an additional win.. You have to be optimistic for their start though...3-0 against rival Canadian teams and putting up 11 goals in three games, very impressive.. Maybe they'll beat the Aves tonight and my mistaken record will be correct!

he keeps his legs moving, and keeps going to the dirty areas he should be just fine come December/January. Lets just hope that if the goals stop going in he doesn't stop working hard.

How about James Neal's start to the season.. He is known to start hot and coll off over time, but they way he has stepped up is definitely one of the main reasons the pens are still doing well with all of the injuries....What a steal at the deadline last year......
