Well, I was having an ordinary day when two fucking assholes decided to have a good old shooting in my school. Luckily, nobody died (though some people are in criticial condition) but it was really fucking scary; eating lunch and then hearing bullets being fired in the cafeteria right next to where you're eating. Really fucking horrible stuff.

Yeah that is too bad, glad you are ok and hope everyone else is. I don't know what is wrong with people.

They probably like Metal and Marilyn Manson and shit.

Montreal actually kind of has a history of this thing. In 1989, some anti-womans rights asshole went into the Ecole Polytechnique and killed 14 women (and three men who tried to stop him). More recently, an engineering professor at Concordia University killed 4 of his colleagues who had plagiarised his work. Its fucking insane stuff; this guy didn't even have a motive, and just felt like going out in a blaze of bullets. Fucking crazies.

Thanks for the support, all. It is appreciated.

ok, now i'm angry.

i go to the university to sign up and she says "oh we just said 'you can come study here if you want', we didn't say you got credits for the stuff you've already done". so apparently they know enough about my old uni's programme to evaluate it's quality, but not enough to determine whether or not i can get credits, and to get the credits i have to sign up for another procedure.

she says to me "so just sign up for the subjects you think you can do HERE" YOU STUPID BITCH, WHAT IF I END UP NOT BEING ABLE TO TAKE THE ONES I SIGN UP FOR EITHER?!

most 2nd year subjects depend on the completion of 1st year subjects!! the credit process "takes some time" (she didn't specify) and if i don't get them it could really fuck up my plans. dammit, i'm beginning to think all this is a big mistake.

Haha! The hardest part of going to uni is the Walls of Frustration that they so cunningly devise. It serves no purpose at all, unless it is some sick initiation ritual thing.

indeed! i just didn't expect the paper pushers to give me that much trouble...

Image Image

why does it take 8.50€ for the first subject + 4.10€ for others to be credited? is it taht hard to take a look and compare the programmes and say yes or no? and what if in the end i don't get the credits? is this some kind of test to see how determined i am to go to the university?

Meh.

I turn 25 today. Moved into my new apartment a week ago.
Should be the start of something new, but I'm not really feeling
that. I want them back.

I plan on taking full creative control and ripping off Keelhaul and Trephine riffs.

Holy fuck I'm nervous. There were elections in Sweden today and atm the difference between the left parties and the center-right alliance is around 1%...

Edit: 0.1% at the moment
